クラスタを取りまとめる帝都エル・デュエルの皇帝は動揺していた。 隣国エル・ネメシスとの戦争で、かなりの劣勢となっていた為だだ。 エル・ネメシスとはもう数百年以上にも及ぶ宿敵である。 それは信奉する神が違う国家同士であるが故に、決して歩み寄ることが出来ない、宿命的な相手な のだ。そのエル・ネメシスが、ここに来て一気に力を付けてきた。 地の利も国力も、全てにおいて優勢であったエル・デュエルが、全く敵わないのである。 ここ数十年の戦いでは、徐々にエル・デュエルはその劣勢圏を奪われ、 このまま行けば、あと十年もしないうちに帝都まで占領されかねないのだ。
The emperor of the imperial capital, El Duel, which had managed to unify most of Sol Cluster, was very restless. They were in a war with the neighboring country of El Nemesys, and their numbers were dwindling more with each day. Both countries had treated each other as old enemies during various centuries.
That because despite being neighboring countries, they had great differences when it came to their religious beliefs, and since they were unable to reach an agreement on this, they became fateful adversaries. And now, El Nemesys had inexplicably gained a great power.
While they had the most land and power in Sol Cluster, and were superior to El Nemesys in every aspect, El Duel had no chance against them. In a few decades, the inferior numbers had a great cost on El Duel, and if things continued in this same way, in a few years El Nemesys would have occupied even the imperial capital itself.

According to rumors, El Nemesys had obtained the powers of its heretical God, and were using them to its fullest.
So the Emperor of the time, Resshikou, prayed this to the Gods: "Please, help us to protect Your Holy Lands, and expel the heretics".
Every day, every morning, and every night, he offered this prayer to the Gods.
And then, one of the Gods who looked at him from the Heavens, Koudeinomikoto, thought that He would something to help this devout believer. So then He gave a divine oracle to Resshikou: in exchange for the sacrifice of his own daughter,

隣国中枢に使命を持たせた我が子を送り込む事を約束した。 かくして紅禰命は、自らの第一息子である雷哭美子を地上に送り込んだのである。
he promised to send one of His own children to the very center of El Nemesys with the mission of destroying it from the inside. Thus, Koudeinomikoto sent his eldest son, Raikokubishi, to the surface of the land.
雷哭美子はシェリークという名前の子として、隣国エル・ネメシスの野心家であり側近、ルガイの 地上に降りた雷哭美子は自らの使命ことは覚えておらず、ルガイの息子としてすくすくと育つ。 ルガイはシェリークに、ありとあらゆる戦闘に役立つ知識と訓練をした。 それは、我が子が戦争で数多の名声をあげ、それによって政治力を強める為だ。 その甲斐あってか、はたまた天性の才能故か、シェーリクはルガイの予想を遙かに超える成長をし た。その上、武術大会では毎回、超越した武術で優勝を読け、戦に出ればシェリークの隊は必ず戦績を上げ た。その上、軍略会議では的確な判断と提案で、部隊を勝利へと導いたのだ。 シェリークは、ネメシス王の次期宰相の座は確実と噂される迄になり、ルガイは鼻が高かった。
Raikokubishi was born as a child called Syerek, belonging to one of the most ambitious families in El Nemesys, although he forgot his mission once he descended, and thus, he quickly raised by the head of that family, called Lugai.
Lugai gave Syerek every single piece of knowledge and training that could have some use during a battle, which gave him a great reputation based on the great renown his son gained, and this allowed him to gain a greater political power.
Maybe it was because of his instruction, maybe it was an innate talent, but Syerek surpassed by far all of Lugai's expectations as he grew.
Furthermore, every time a martial arts tournament was held, he continued to be crowned as a champion, and it was even said that once Syerek went to fight for real, his squad would surely get an excellent record. And he even proposed many strategies with such an accurate judgment in the tactical meetings, that he led many troops to victory.
Soon enough, rumors began circulating about the king of Nemesys selecting Syerek to be the next prime minister, a fact about which Lugai couldn't be any more proud.
そんなシェリークにも春が訪れる。ネメシス王の三女リーシャと恋に落ちたのだ。 リーシャは活発な姫君で、侍従達もおてんばな彼女にはほとほと困り果てている程だ。 また彼女は三女であり、世継ぎとしてはほとんど期待されていなかった。 そんな境遇から彼女は武術に興味を持つようになり、また姫君であるにもかかわらず毎回戦場へと 赴いているのである。 そして大変有能で、武術に優れた武神だった。
And springtime also came to Syerek during these times, because he fell in love with the third daughter of the king of Nemesys: Princess Liarsha. She was a very lively princess, so much that many of the suitors that came to ask for marriage with her were perplexed to see how tomboyish she was. And since she also was the third in the succession line, she wasn't expected to be the successor to the king.
It was in this environment that she was raised, so she became interested in martial arts, and although she was princess, she didn't have any problems in going to the battlefield personally. And she had such a great ability that she even managed to surpass the god of martial arts himself.

正直、並大抵の兵士や騎士などでは、腕慣らしにもならなかった程だ。 そんな彼女がシェリークにに一目置くのは必然だったのだろう。 そしてシェリークもまた、リーシャに興味を抱くのは当然のことであろう。 二人はよく組み手をし、また戦場に出た日は自らの手柄を自慢し合った。そして お互いの功績を護え合った。 そんな二人だからこそ、仲睦まじくなるには時間はかからなかった。
But honestly speaking, she didn't even reach the level in which she would be able to break the arms of ordinary soldiers and knights.
Thus, it was natural that she recognized Syerek as superior once she met him.
Likewise, it was also natural that he embraced Liarsha's interest. They trained together, and every day they went out to the battlefield, they boasted together of their achievements. And likewise, they carried out the achievements they boasted to the end. Thus, for a couple like this, it didn't take much time before they became very close friends.
それからしばらくして、束の間の平穏の日々が訪れる。 隣国のエル・デュエルとの戦争が、事実上エル・ネメシスの勝利によって収束したのである。 そしてそれからしばらくの間、エル・デュエルは悪あがきすることもなく、大人しくエル・ネメシ スの条件を呑み続けた。 これにはエル・ネメシス側も大変驚いたが、庶民の間では、久方ぶりの平和ムードで満ちあふれ、 活気づいていた。 戦争のない時期、二人は色々な所へと出掛けた。もちろんお忍びである。 城の警備は堅い。だが、シェリークとリーシャが組めば、警備など有って無いようなものであった。 町中では二人は、ただお互いを愛する恋人同士でしかなかった。 そこには地位も、立場も、権力もない。ただ二人だけの世界...。 そんな中で特に二人のお気に入りだった場所が、八角楼と呼ばれる高い塔だった。 この塔に登すと、街全体が見渡せた。まるで空を飛んでいるかのような世界。
A short time after all this, a brief time of peace came to the land. The war with the country of El Duel was finally reaching its conclusion, with El Nemesys seeming like the most likely victor, and furthermore, no matter what kind of futile resistance El Duel tried to put up, they would have to continue accepting the conditions that El Nemesys put over them.
This surprised even the populace of El Nemesys, since a peaceful atmosphere filled all of them, one that they hadn't felt in many years, and the streets filled with liveliness.
During these calmed times, Liarsha and Syerek went out to various places, of course, in complete secrecy. The castle had very solid defenses, but if the two of them were together, it was like these defenses didn't even exist. Within the town, they were no different from any other couple of lovebirds.
In there, things like social status, situation or authority didn't exist. That was only world for the both of them....
And among them, there was an special place that became their favorite: a tall tower called the Octagonal Turret. Once anyone had climbed this tower, they would be treated to a magnificent view of the entire city. They saw the world from there as if they were flying in the skies.

そして、この世界全部を手に入れたかのような気分になれる場所。 二人はそこで、愛の誓いを交わし、口づけをした。
And in this place, they felt like they could have all of the world in their hands. It was in there that they exchanged their love vows, and sealed them with a kiss.
だが、そんな二人にも運命の刻が訪れる。 それは、シェリークが十五歳の誕生日を迎えた日のことだった。 その日リーシャはプレゼントを持って、待ち合わせ場所でシェリークを待っていた。 だが、待てども待てどもシェリークは来なかった。こんな事は初めてだった為、リーシャは心配に なった。だが自分の立場上、シェリークの家に行くことは出来ず、ただただ心配した。 その頃シェリークには、大きな衝撃が走っていた。 十五歳の誕生日であるその日彼は思い出してしまったのである。 自らの真の名前、そして使命を...。 シェリークは雷哭美子という名の半神であり、使命を持って父である神から地上に遣わされていた。 ぞの使命とは、この国エル・ネメシスを内側から崩壊させること。 だが十五年という歳月は、この滅ぼすべき地に愛情を芽生えさせてしまった。 それ故に、シェリークは悩んだ。心が引きちぎれる程に悩み、剣を振り、ぶつかり、殴った。 そして、失踪してしまったのである。 父ルガイはシェリークが帰らぬ事を心配し、家臣にシェリーク捜索を命じる事となる。
However, even to this lovely couple, a fateful time came. This was when Syreke's 15th birthday finally arrived.
On that day, Liarsha brought a present for Syerek, and waited for him in the place they had agreed on.
However, no matter how much she waited, Syerek didn't come. Given that something like this never had happened before, Liarsha got very worried. And since she couldn't go to Syerek's house because of her social position, she got even more worried.
On the other hand, Syerek had received a large shock during that time. It was on this very day, on his 15th birthday, that he had finally remembered. About his true name, and his mission...
Syerek was actually a demigod called Raikokubishi, and he was sent by his godly Father to this land to accomplish a mission.
Said mission was to destroy this country of El Nemesys from the inside. However, during the fifteen years he had lived here, a great love had sprouted for the land he was supposed to destroy.
Because of this, Syerek was greatly worried. Filled with a worry large enough to pull and rip apart his heart, he swung his sword around, and continuously struck the ground with it.
And then, he disappeared. Lugai got worried since Syerek didn't return home, and ordered to one of his retainers to search for his missing son.

Syerek was on a cliff, looking at the ocean.

彼は一人戦っていたのである。 最初に見つけたのはリーシャだった。シェリークへの想いが、彼女をここへ辿り 着かせたのだろう。 シェリークはたいそう驚いたが、リーシャが抱きついて来た為、それを無言で受けとめた。 リーシャは心配のあまり、シェリークの胸で泣きじゃくった。 シェリークは一度目を瞑り、そしてリーシャを見ると、こう囁いたのだ。
He had always fought alone.
But the first person to find him was Liarsha, her feelings for him having led her to his side.
Syerek was extremely surprised, but since Liarsha came to him and embraced him, he received her in silence.
Liarsha was very worried, and as she embraced him, she cried bitterly on Syerek's chest.
Syerek's eyes darkened at once, and as he looked at Liarsha, he whispered:
「例えどんなことが起こっても、君だけは絶対に傷つけたりしない...」
"No matter what might happen now, you're the only person I'll never harm..."
リーシャは唐突な発言にビックリしたが、シェリークがすぐにいつもの優しい笑 顔に戻ったので安心した。 そしてシェリークは、リーシャと共に街への帰路に就いた。 だが、その瞳の中には既に決意の気持ちが宿っていた。
Liarsha was surprised at this abrupt utterance, but since Syerek immediately returned to his normal, kind smile, her heart was calmed.
Then, both of them returned to the city together. However, within his eyes, a feeling of determination had already taken possession of him.
その後、半年もしないうちに、シェリークはエル・ネメシスの宰相に抜擢された。 文武両道であり、どちらもずば抜けた才能があったシェリーク故に、この十五歳 の若き宰相に誰も異論は挟めなかったのだ。 ルガイの鼻は更に高くなり、ルガイの家は、王族に最も影響力を持つ家になった。 だが、リーシャはこの喜ばしい出来事を、妙な胸騒ぎを持って迎えていた。 その理由は簡単である。シェリークの瞳が、以前のそれとは別人のようだったか らである。
Soon after, not even half a year after these events, Syerek was appointed as the prime minister of El Nemesys. Since none of the other candidates were as cultured or as great a fighter as Syerek was, no one had any objection about this 15-year old young man becoming the new prime minister.
Lugai was even more proud of this, since now their family had become the most powerful in El Nemesys, with the exception of the royal family. But despite these happy developments, Liarsha had a strange uneasiness, and the reason for it was very simple. It was because Syerek's eyes now looked like the eyes of a completely different person.

あの日、海の崖でシェリークを見つけた時から、彼の瞳は変わってしまった。そ れがリーシャの心をかき乱したのだ。
On that day, when she found Syerek on that cliff overlooking the ocean, his eyes had changed, and that continued stirring her heart until this day.
そしてその胸騒ぎはすぐに現実のものとなった。 ある夜ネメシス王は、今後の国の拡大についてシェリークと二人で話し合いたいと所望した。 そしてその時、シェリークは遂に動き出したのである。 安心しきった夜に、ネメシス王殺害などシェリークにはあまりに簡単な事であった。 すぐさま駆けつけた兵士などは、紙のように斬られていった。 城中がすぐさま騒ぎとなり、リーシャ、そしてルガイの耳にも入る。 ルガイが王の間に入したとき、既にそこは血に染まっていた。あまりの出来事に、もはや自らの 息子であるという事すらも喪失していた。 肉親の殺害は死をもって償う...この国ではそれが当然のことであった。だが、既 にこの時二人は肉親という想いすら喪失していた。 戦い、殺し合う親子。だがそれも、父の子に対する情が勝負を決することになる。 ルガイの一瞬のためらいが、自らの喉を裂かせる効果となってしまったのだ。 気がづけば、王宮には既に人影はなかった。もはやこの国に指導者は一人もいなかった。 だがこの時、シェリークは1つだけ自らに嘘をついていた。一部屋だけ。たった一部屋だけ、見送 した部屋があったのである。
And then that uneasiness turned into reality.
On a certain night, the king of Nemesys summoned Syerek, intending to privately discuss with him about what measures could be taken to further expand the country from that time on.
And at that time it was that Syerek finally began acting. On such a calm night like this, it was extremely easy for him to murder the king, and the soldiers who rushed into the scene after this were beheaded as if they were made of paper.
The commotion that this triggered in the castle quickly reached the ears of both Liarsha and Lugai. Lugai rushed into the chambers of the king at once, but it was all colored in blood when he arrived. Despite all the achievements he had gained, he immediately felt that he had lost his only son.
Killing one of your blood relatives is a crime deserving capital punishment.... that was natural in this country. However, at this time, feelings like being blood relatives had already disappeared from both of their minds. Both parent and child fought, trying to kill each other. However, the feelings of a father for his children were what decided the outcome of this battle.
Because Lugai hesitated for a single instant, the battle ended with his throat being ripped apart.
Before Syerek noticed, there was not even a single person in the castle. Not even one of the sovereigns that used to lead this country remained anymore.
However, at this time, Syerek told one lie to himself. Only one room remained. He had overlooked a single room on purpose.

この事件は一晩のうちに隣国にまで伝わった。 そして、その知らせを聞いたエル・デュエル皇帝、烈獅皇は、すぐさま大軍を向かわせ、一夜にし てエル・ネメシスの領地全土を併合したのだった。 シェリークは神の子としてエル・デュエルに迎えられた。そしてこの世の至高とも言えるような褒 美と名声を与えられた。 だが、シェリークは満たされなかった。最愛のリーシャのその後が気になって仕方なかったからだ。 あまりにいたためなくなったシェリークは、危険であるという声を振り払い、身を隠し、元エル・ ネメシスに向かった。
The news of this incident reached all of the neighboring countries overnight.
And once the Emperor of El Duel, Resshikou, heard about this, he immediately sent his great army, and in only night, he annexed the territories of El Nemesys into his own kingdom.
Syerek was received in El Duel as the child of a God, and was given by its people the largest praises and rewards that could be dreamed of.
However, this didn't satisfy him. He couldn't avoid being worried for his beloved Liarsha after this all had ended.
This reached the point were he couldn't settle down anymore, so ignoring the thoughts that told him this would be dangerous, he hid himself, and left for his homeland of El Nemesys.
街は完全にエル・デュエルに染まっていた。もはや昔の面影は無いに等しかった。 そして、リーシャに関する手がかりも全く掴めなかった。 途方に暮れたシェリークは、リーシャとの思い出が沢山詰まった場所...八角楼へ登った。 何年んぶりかに登ったそこからの景色は、前とどこも変わっていないようにすら見える。 このまま時間が戻れば...あの十五歳の誕生日の前に...雷哭美子の記憶が蘇る前 に戻れば、どんなに幸せだろうか...。 何年も前、リーシャと二人でこの塔に登ったことを今でも鮮明に覚えている。そして、今でも隣に いるような... シェリークは驚きを隠せなかった。そこにはリーシャがいたのである。夢ではなく、間違いなく現
All of the city was now covered in the colors of El Duel. Just a few vestiges of the old days remained now. And he was unable to find even a single clue related to Liarsha's whereabouts.
Syerek was perplexed, and thus decided to head to the place where most of his memories with Liarsha were made... and climbed the Octagonal Turret.
Despite who knows how many years had passed since the last time, the scenery on the top didn't look any different from back then. If he could go back to these times... to before his 15th birthday... to before his memories as Raikokubishi had resurfaced, who knows how happy he could have been...
Syerek was so astonished that he didn't even try to hide, because Liarsha was right here. It wasn't a dream,

実にそこにいる。 リーシャは生きていたのだ。あの戦争後のエル・デュエル捜索をも免れて、今ここに！ だが、次の瞬間、全ては夢物語となり果てた。 全ての世界が歪み、ねじれ、そして遠くのものから崩れ去っていく。 足下では何か水音がしていた。リーシャはシェリークの耳元で、優しく囁いたのだ。

Liarsha was alive, she spent all of the post-war time hiding from the search parties of El Duel, and was now here!
However, at the next instant, all the fairytale-like qualities ended. All of the world got distorted, spiraled around him, and went far, far away, as it crumbled away into darkness.
Something under his feet made a sound similar to that of water, and Liarsha gently whispered this on his ears:
「貴方は私から全てを奪った。だから、私は貴方の全てを奪うの。私だけの貴方にするのよ...」
"You have taken away everything from me. So now, I shall take away everything you have. I shall make you all mine..."
まっ赤い染まる手と、身体を貫通し夕日に燦めく美しい剣を見ながら、シェリークは自らの運命を 悟った。そしてリーシャはそのままシェリークを抱えると、八角楼から飛び降りた。自らの恨みを 晴らすと同時に、永遠に二人でいられるようにと。
Her hands were all colored in bright red, and as he looked at the sword that beautifully shone in the setting sun, and was piercing his body, Syerek resigned to his fate. Then, Liarsha embraced him, and like this, she leapt from the Octagonal Tower.
All of the resentment she had then cleared away, as they would be together forever.
かくして、神の子シェリークは自らの最愛の姫リーシャに殺された。そして彼女もまた自害し、共に果てたのである。 リーシャにとって、自らの幸せを全て奪った張本人シェリーク。だがそれと同じくらい彼を愛していたのもまた事実。 そんな彼女は、戦のない世界、死後の世界で彼と共にありたいと願ったのだ。
Thus, Syerek, the child of a God, was killed by his beloved Princess Liarsha.
Then, she committed suicide, so their lives would end together. To Liarsha, Syerek was the very person who took away all her happiness.
But at the same time, she loved him as much as she hated him. She actually just wished to be together with him forever in the world of the afterlife, in which there wouldn't be any wars.

About the Story:
この物語は男女の悲恋を謳っているように見える。だが、実際はその裏に隠された本当の意味が存在する。寧ろこの神話が 作られた世界ソル・クラスタの民にとっては、その「本当の意味」しか感じ取れない文化だったのである。その本当の意味は、「色 恋沙汰にかまけることなく、毎日自分にも他人にも厳しく誠実で、そして敬虔であるべき」というものである。また、この神 話の生まれた時代、神（惑星の意志）は常に隣にいる存在として捉えられており、それ故か、畏れ多くも「神側とてこの真理 は変わらない」という強烈な説得力を持たせる話として作られている。シェリークは神であり、神ですらも自らの任務を放棄 したことで死せる運命に遣っているのである。すなわち「色ボケするとろくな事にならないから、真面目に働き真面目に戦う べしー」これこそが、ソル・クラスタの硬派は気質を体現する最もポピュラーな神話である。 小さい頃、こういった厳格な神話によってしつけられているソル・クラスタの民は、当然この神話の教訓に誰もが納得する。 だがこれを、叙情的な感覚を持つソル・シエールの民が見たらどう思うだろうか。 彼らは「愛と情こそが全て」であるから、この神話に登場する「娘を生け贄にとしてでも神と国族に敬虔である王」にはこ れっぽっちも共感など出来ないことだろう。このようにその地域に根付く神話には、その地域の風土や文化を如実に体言したも のが多い。そういった観点からこの神話を続み直してみると、ソル・クラスタの様々な文化が見えてくるかも知れない。
This story seems to be singing about blighted love between a man and a woman, but actually, it also has a true meaning hidden on its underside. Rather, this was because to the people of Sol Cluster, the creators of this myth, had a culture that could only feel that "true meaning". Said true meaning is the following:
"Don't allow yourself to be absorbed by the affairs of love, and you must be strictly honest to yourself and others everyday, and be as devout as possible".
Also, during the the times in which this myth was created, the Gods (Wills of the Planet) were normally perceived as eternal companions to the humans, so maybe because of this it was that graciously, this was made as a myth with the persuasive theme of "even to the Gods, the truth is unchangeable".
Syerek was a God, but despite this, his final fate was death because of having abandoned his mission. In other words, "Don't act like a fool and do indecent things, you ought to be a person that diligently works and fights", which is itself what makes this story the most popular myth in Sol Cluster due to being the embodiment of the stalwart spirit of its people.
Since early childhood, the people of Sol Cluster are taught many lessons with myths as severe as this one, so it's natural that they would end up viewing this one as a moral precept as well.
However, how would the people of Sol Ciel, with their poetic way of expressing emotions, react to this? To the people of Sol Ciel, "love and emotions are everything", so with this myth, having elements like "the king who sacrificed his own daughter to show the devotion of his country to the Gods", they were complete unable to empathize with it.
It could be said that the myths that are rooted in each region are in many ways based on the reality that was lived in them, such as the particular natural features and culture of each of them. With that point of view, maybe you should try to reinterpret this myth, and maybe you will be able to see new facts about the culture of Sol Cluster.

While Sol Cluster enjoys a warm weather most of the year, it has a very mountainous landscape, which makes it a very steep terrain to walk on.
Due to the mountains, two very strong winds blow depending on the season: in Summer the sea breeze blows to the land, while in Winter the land breeze blows to the sea, so the people have lived with the wind, and on occasions, battled against it. Because this region has a very harsh environment (but not bad enough to fall into despair, since crops are always abundant), its inhabitants have become very diligent.
It would be incorrect to say this is a world in which only diligent people can live. Rather it's more correct to say that their genes evolved with the passing of generations.
Only the people who worked the most in their fields would be able to raise good crops, while the ones who didn't would die from starvation. With such an environment, it was necessary that the people united in order to survive.
The people learned that working together would bring about larger effects than if they worked separately, and it was thanks to this that civilization in this region developed at a much faster rate than the others.
When the 3000 AD year came, the region of Sol Cluster was formed by 48 countries united under a single government.
This is what we know as the Sol Cluster Alliance. This abrupt alliance is said to have been formed because of the antagonistic region of Sol Ciel rising on the world stage during this historical period.
Actually, because of Sol Ciel having larger lands, and a more lenient government, the countries that existed in it could easily rival the size and abundance of the ones in the Alliance, and therefore, it had much more power and abundance. On the other hand, since Sol Cluster finished a war only to get into another one immediately after, both its power and resources were seriously dwindling.

世界の中心として君臨し、遙か昔から様々な地域へ足を踏み入れていたソル・クラスタ地域は、当然他地域との交流は深い。 最も古くから交流のあるのは、当然内包する地域であるシェスティネである。とはいえ、そのほとんどが森への侵攻、開拓 といった、実質侵略と言っても過言ではない交流であう。 また、ソル・シエールとの邂逅も、自らの土地不足（厳密には田畑生産能力の低さによる食糧不足）の為の進出による効果 であり、その行き着く先はやはり戦争であった。
Due to considering itself as the center of world, and trampling upon many other regions since long ago, it's natural that the exchanges between Sol Cluster and the other regions would run deep in the history of Ar Ciel.
The most ancient of these exchanges come from another region contained in Sol Cluster, known by the name of Syestine. It's said that they invaded part of the forest to make way for new lands, but actually, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this was no more than excuse for an aggression to them.
Also, when they first had a meeting with the representatives of Sol Ciel, the long war between them and Sol Ciel was triggered due to Sol Cluster trying to trample over them because of their own lack of land (or more strictly speaking, the lack of productive capacity of their fields, which then translated into an extreme food shortage).

In Relation to the Wills of the Planet
世界の中では比較的惑星の意志の介在が多めの地域である。それはこのソル・クラスタという地域が シェスティネという大森山岳地帯を内包していた事にも関係がある。シェスティネは「神に最も近 い世界」と言われており、テル族が多数住んでいる場所であった。シェスティネを除くソル・クラス タ地域で主に関わった惑星の意志と、その内容を紹介する。
Compared to the other regions in this world, Sol Cluster had a relatively close relationship with the Wills of the Planet. This is related to the fact that the region of Sol Cluster also contains the grand belt of forests and mountains known as Syestine.
Syestine was said to be [the world closest to the Gods], and was the place where most Teru lived. Aside from those stories that happened in Syestine, below we will discuss the stories that are mainly connected to the Wills of the Planet.

遙か遠い昔、気の遠くなるような昔のこと。この世界は何もない蒼い世界だったという。 その世界に、ユークリッダ、クリューエ、そしてレーレという3柱がいた。彼らはこの蒼だけ の世界で、幸せに暮らしていた。だが、その幸せも束の間であった。ユークリッダとクリューエは、 共にレーレに恋心を抱いてしまった為だ。二人はレーレを取り合って壮大なケンカを始めた。蒼い世 界はビビが入り、そして遂に割れて、その向こうにあった真っ黒な世界になってしまった。レーレは 悲しみ、二人に争いをやめるように伝えたが、二人の耳には既に入らなかった。 7日7晩争った末、決着が着いた。ユークリッダがクリューエの心臓を貫き、この世から消し去っ たのだ。ユークリッダは、レーレを后とすることになった。しかし、それで終わらなかった。クリュ ーエは、貫かれる瞬間に冥界へ逃げ込んでいたのである。そしてクリューエは、冥界からクリッ ダを攻撃し始めた。怒ったユークリッダは、その冥界と繋がっている穴一戦いで剣を刺した場所を、 巨大な球体で寒いて封印した。こうしてクリューエは、実体のある攻撃や行動は一切出来なくなった という。かくしてその封印の球体はこのアルシエルとなり、その上には封印を見守る種族一人間が創 られた。それがデュエルの民である。だが、その一部の人間はクリューエに心を支配され、この封印 を解く為に日々活動しているという。彼らこそがネメシスの民なのだ。
A long, long time ago, far before we can even imagine, this world was no more than a blue world where nothing existed.
And in that world there were three Gods called Juklizda, Clyuue, and Lere.
They lived happily together in this empty blue world. However, even that happiness was very transient, because one day, both Juklizda and Clyuue fell in love at the same time with Lere. They fought incredible battles to compete for Lere's affection, until the blue world finally gave in and collapsed, and became a completely black space.
Lere was very sad, and tried to tell them to stop fighting, but her pleas only fell in deaf ears.
Finally, after seven days and seven nights of battling, the outcome was decided. Juklizda pierced Clyuue's heart, and banished him from this world.
Then, he took Lere as his queen. However, this didn't mean that Clyuue was finished. At the instant in which Juklizda killed him, Clyuue fled to the underworld, and from there, he began attacking Juklizda again. Juklizda was enraged, and with an stab of his sword through the hole that connected both worlds, he created a gigantic, freezing sphere at the exact point where the tip of his sword made contact, and sealed Clyuue within it. Thus, Clyuue was instantly rendered completely unable to attack or takes any actions.
Thus, the sphere in which Clyuue was sealed became this world of Ar Ciel, and Juklizda made the humans that live upon it into the race that would protect Clyuue's seal.
These are what we know as the people of Duel. However, among these humans, there was one part that were controlled by Clyuue's heart, and lived only so that someday, the seal could be broken. These other people came to be as the people of Nemesys.
[Red Shoes] Soumanomiya (Soma)

その頃、戦争と飢饉が続き、人々の心は荒んでいた。そして、心にゆとりが無く飢えた大人が、子 供を虐待する事件が数発していたのだ。そんな中で1つの噂が流れ始めた。それは「知らない子を虐 待すると、ソウマというガキに殺されるぞ」というものだった。ある日、紳士が大事な社交に出席 する為急いでいた。ところが、途中ぬかるみにはまり、靴が汚れてしまった。時間もなくイライラし ていた紳士は、近くにいたみすぼらしい子供の靴磨きに磨けと命じた。子供は一生懸命を磨いたが、 傷が付いていた靴は完全には綺麗にならなかった。それをいい事に、紳士は子供にお金を払わなかっ た。そしてその後しがみついてくる子供を、その靴で何度も蹴ったのだ。社交会が終わり帰るとき、 暗い夜道にまだ子供がいた。不気味だったので別の道を行こうと手前で曲がった。 するとそこに、同じ子供が立っていたのだ。「おじさん、もう一度靴を磨くよ。今度はシルシルに...」紳士は悲鳴をあ げて一心不乱に走った。どこをどう走ったか、道は行き止まりになった。そして壁を見上げるとそこ には大きく「みつけたよ」と血で書かれていた。次の日の朝、通りすがりの女性が悲鳴をあげた。そ こには、革靴に胸を踏み潰されて死んでいる紳士の姿があった。胸に置かれていた革靴と全身は血で まっ赤になっていた。しかし不思議なことに、履いている靴だけは傷一つ無く、ピカピカに磨かれて いたという。
Back then, the wars and famine continued endlessly, and the hearts of the people became rough and cold.
And so, now that hearts of the adults had become insensitive due to the famine, cases of child mistreatment became a common sight in the kingdom.
Among these circumstances, a rumor began circulating, saying that "Anyone who mistreats an unknown children will be killed by a brat called Souma".
On a certain day, a gentleman hurried to attend a very important party. However, on his way, he stepped into a puddle of mud, and his shoes got all dirty. He didn't have enough time to go back to his house, so ordered a couple of nearby poor-looking children to polish his shoes for him.
The children polished the best they could, to the point of getting their hands all wounded, but they were unable to completely clean the shoes. Despite this being a good enough job for most people, the gentleman didn't pay them.
The children clung to him so he would give them their pay, but the man just responded by kicking them repeatedly, with the very same shoes they had polished.
Once the party ended, and the gentleman was going back to his house, he saw that the children were still in the same dark street. They seemed very eerie, so he went back, and turned to go through another street.
But there, the same children were standing before him. "Sir, please, let us polish your shoes again.This time we'll make them shine..."
The gentleman shrieked, and began running like a madman. No matter where he ran, all of the alleys became dead ends.
And finally, once he looked up to a wall, he saw that the words "I'VE FOUND YOU!" were written in blood, and in an enormous size. The next morning, a woman that happened to be passing through this alley shrieked.
Before her, there was the gentleman, dead, and with a pair of leather shoes over his crushed chest. The leather shoes he had over his chest were completely red, and of the same tone of red as blood. But mysteriously, it's said that the shoes that he was wearing were the only part of him that were unscathed, and they were polished to the point that they glittered beautifully.

シェスティネの大地に一際綺麗な森がありました。 そこには沢山の花が咲き乱れ、木々は豊かに葉を茂らせていました。 それは、この森に住むおばあちゃんが、とても木々を大切に育てていたからです。 そんなおばあちゃんを、森の女神シャラノワールは大好きでした。 姿を現すことはなくとも、シャラノワールはいつもこの森にいて、おばあちゃんを見守っていました。
There was once an incredibly beautiful forest in the land of Syestine. And in there, many flowers bloomed one after other, and the leaves of the trees grew in great abundance.
This was because in the forest, there was a kind old woman living in it, raising the trees with great care. And this old woman was loved by the Goddess of the Forest, Shelanoir.
Although she never appeared before her, Shelanoir was always in this forest, and watched over the old woman.
ある日おばあちゃんの元へ、一輪のダイアンサスが届きました。 とても小さな花でしたが、おばあちゃんはそれをいつも以上に大切に育てていました。 ですが、そんな幸せは長くは続きませんでした。 近くで山火事があり、おばあさんの森は一夜にして灰になってしまったのです。 おばあさんはダイアンサスを持っていこうと頑張っている間に、逃げ場を失い亡くなってしまいまし た。おばあさんが大事に抱えていたダイアンサスだけが、この火事を逃れ、活き活きと咲いていました。 シャラノワールはとても哀しみました。 そして、このダイアンサスを自分が守っていこうと決めました。
On a certain day, a single Dianthus flower reached the hands of the old woman. It was still very small, but the old woman took it, and raised it the best she could.
However, this happiness didn't last for very long. Because of a nearby bushfire, the forest of the old woman became ashes in a single night.
During the time in which the old woman did her best to get out of there, alive from the fire with the Dianthus flower, she lost any possibility of escape, and died burned away.
However, the Dianthus she held onto so dearly managed to escape from the flames, and bloomed vividly.
Shelanoir was very sad about this, and thus, She decided that She would protect this Dianthus in place of the the old woman.

おばあさんが命を賭けて守ってくれた花でしたから、天国にいるおばあさんからもよく見えるよう に大きな花に育てよう、と思ったのです。
Since the old woman gave her life to protect this little flower, She thought that She would raise it until it was large enough flower the old woman to see from the Heavens above.
それから数年後。 ダイアンサスはあり得ないほど大きな木となり、毎日沢山の花を咲かせるようになりました。 ところがあまりに巨大であり、この辺りではとんと見かけない花をつけるものですから、その樹の 噂は瞬く間に広がりこの地に沢山の人が訪れるようになったのです。 しかも悪いことに、その話には不老長寿の花という根も葉もない噂がついて回っており、そのせい でこのダイアンサスの花木は荒らされました。 とても悲しんだシャラノワールは、周りに巨大な荊の森を創りあげ、ダイアンサスを守りました。 それでも尚、「勇者」と呼ばれる者達がしょっちゅうこの荊の森を荒らしに来て、ダイアンサスを 痛めつけるのです。 シャラノワールは遂に酷く怒り、この森を訪れる者を荊で縛り、殺してしまうようになってしまい ました。 荊の木々が城壁となり、おばあさんの森を完全に魔の森と化してしまったのです。 それからも命知らずな勇者が何度もこの森を訪れました。 ですが、魔の森と化したこの森に悉く飲まれ、そして一人残らず死んでいったのでした。 <pre> After this, many years passed. The Dianthus became an incredibly large tree, and thanks to this, many other flowers bloomed every day. Given that it grew so large, and that these flowers were something that no one in the region had ever seen before, many rumors about the tree began to spread, and many people came to this land attracted by them. However, this was unfortunate, since according to these rumors, the flowers, when stripped away from their roots and leaves would become the key to eternal youth, and due to this, the Dianthus flowers and tree received severe damage. Shelanoir was so sad at this that She created a large forest of thorns around the tree to protect the Dianthus flowers. Despite this, some people called "heroes" frequently came to the forest of thorns to try to destroy it, and take away the Dianthus. Shelanoir finally snapped, and whenever anyone came to this forest, they would be restrained by the thorns, and then killed by them. The thorny trees became like the walls of a castle, and thus, the forest of the old woman completely became the Forest of Evil. Even after this, many reckless heroes came to this forest, but still, they were completely devoured by the newly created Forest of Evil, and not even one of them remained alive. <pre> そんなある日、また一人の若者がこの哀しみの森に入り込んできまし。 シャラノワールはいつものように荊で森を守りますが、若者は一向にひるむ気配 がありません。
And one day, one more child came to this forest shrouded in sadness. Shelanoir was always protecting the forest with the thorns, but she didn't even flinch at the presence of the child.

いつもと様子が違う為、ちょっとした好奇心からその若者を見たシャラノワールはドキッとしまし た。その瞳からはとても強い「想い」があふれ出ていたのです。それは、今まで一度も見たことの ない瞳でした。 若者は森で迷い、傷つきながらも決して帰りませんでした。自慢のしっぽも傷つき、ぐったりとし ていました。そんな何日も荊の森で迷い続ける若者の姿を見て、シャラノワールはちょっぴり可哀 想に思えてきました。 ある朝若者が起きると、枕元に沢山の木の実がありました。 また次の日起きると、草の布団が被せてあり、寒い夜を凍えずに過ごせたと知りました。 若者は、誰だろう？と疑問に思いながらも有り難くそれらを頂戴し、元気を取り戻して更に奥へと 進んでいきました。 そして遂に、前人未踏の荊の内側に入り込んだのです。 若者はその内側に広がった光景を見て、息を飲みました。 何故って、そこは様々な花が咲き乱れ、美しい木漏れ日が差し込む、広大で美しい森だったのです から！そしてその中心には、誰もが求めて止まないダイアンサスの花を沢山咲かせた大樹が、遙か 天井までそびえ立っていました。 シャラノワールは、驚きを隠せないでいる若者を木々の間から覗いていましたが、うっかり動いて しまい、ついに見つかってしまいました。 若者はビックリして少女を追いかけました。そして追いかけているうちに、ダイアンサスの大樹の ふもとまで来てしまいました。
Since the situation was now different from how it used to be, Shelanoir kept excitedly watching the child out from mere curiosity. His eyes were filled with very strong "feelings". She had never seen eyes like the ones the child had. This child had gotten lost in the forest, and despite continuing to be harmed by the thorns, he had decided to keep going to the end, even if the tail of which he was so proud got all covered in wounds. As She watched the boy, continuing to be lost in the forest of thorns for many days, Shelanoir finally began to feel pity for him.
When he awakened the next morning, he found a great number of fruits right beside where he was sleeping. And the next morning, he noticed he was covered by a grass mattress, and then he understood how he managed to spend the cold night without freezing. While continually wondering who it was, he gratefully accepted these gifts, and with his energy replenished, he marched on to the very center of the forest.
And finally, he entered into thorns, where no one had stepped before. Once he saw the scene that unfolded within them, he was left breathless. Somehow, there was a vast, beautiful forest within this place, with many flowers blooming, and enshrouded by the soft light of the sun that filtered between the foliage! And in the very center, there was a tree were many of the Dianthus flowers that everyone endlessly sought were blooming, which rose as far as the highest skies.
Shelanoir was so surprised that she couldn't hide herself well, and the boy finally managed to see her, during a brief moment as she moved between the trees. The boy chased after the surprised girl. And in his chase, he arrived at the base of the great Dianthus tree.

ダイアンサスの木の陰に、その少女は隠れていました。 あたかも最初からそこに少女が、"置いてあった"ような錯覚にとらわれました。 それ程までに少女も、ダイアンサスも、美しかったのです。 少年は警戒した面持ちの少女に向けて、優しく語りかけました。 「君が僕に木の実をくれたりしてくれたのかい？」 少女はしばらく大樹の陰から若者を見ているだけでしたが、だいぶ遅れてこくりと頷きました。 「ありがとう。僕はリュグ。君は...？」 「.........シャラ」
That girl was covered by the shade of the Dianthus tree.
It was as if he was trapped in an illusion that showed him that "the girl was here" right back from the beginning. That was how beautiful the girl and the Dianthus flowers were.
The boy looked at the cautious face of the girl, and gently spoke to her:
"You're the one who gave me those fruits?"
It might just have been because she was being watched the boy from outside the tree's shade, but the girl very slowly and suddenly, nodded.
"Thanks. I'm Ryugg. And you're..."
"...Shela."
リュグはダイアンサスの大樹を見ながら、自分はここに住んでいたおばあさんの孫だと打ち明けま した。遠いところに住んでいたが、風の噂で祖母の死と、この森の噂を聞いて駆けつけたと。 シャラはびっくりしました。そして酷く落ち込みました。 何故って、お祖母さんの大事な孫だとも知らずに、必死でここから追い出そうとしていたのですか ら。シャラはお祖母さん亡き後一人、この森を守っていたことを伝えました。 リュグはただ一言、微笑みながら「ありがとう」と言いました。とっても嬉しくてドキドキしたシ ャラでしたが、素直になれずにぷいっと横を向いてしまいました。
As he looked up at the Dianthus tree, he explained in all honesty that he was the grandson of the old woman that used to live in this forest. While he lived in a very faraway place, the rumor of the wind told him about the death of his grandmother, and upon hearing the rumors of this forest, he immediately ran off here.
Shela was very surprised, but then she felt a very deep sadness. Why was was she going to kill him off to drive him away from this forest, without even knowing that he was the precious grandson of the old woman she liked so much? Shela then told him how she was completely alone after his grandmother died, and how she protected the forest. Ryugg then just smiled, as he told her a single word: "Thanks." While she was very happy and excited to hear these words, she just looked aside.

グが話しかけてもぶっきらぼうに返事をするばかり。 でも、毎朝食事を作ってくれたり、お風呂を入れてくれたり、よくリュグの大好 きなランドーを取ってきてくれたりもしました。 リュグはシェラの育ててきた沢山の花々を、とても大事にしました。 シャラと一緒に水をやり、花を愛でました。 二人はあまり言葉を交わすことはありませんでしたが、それでも確実に、少しず つ心の距離を近づけていっていました。
trying to talk with Ryugg, she would just reply with very blunt words. Still, they made breakfast together every morning, bather together, and gathered many of the Landos Ryugg loved so much. Ryugg also treasured very much the many flowers that Shela had raised. He loved the flowers so much that he even watered them with Shela.
Even if they didn't really exchange many words, the distance between them was certainly shortening little by little.
そんなある日のこと。二人にとって大変な事件が起こりました。 そのはリュグが、森の花木に水を与えて回っていました。 そして、とてつもない事件に遭遇しました。なんと、荊の森が一面燃えているではありませんか！ それは人間たちによるものでした。 人間の王が、不老長寿のダイアンサスをいつまで経っても入手出来ない事に我慢ならなくなり、軍 隊に森を焼くように命じたのです。 炎はたちまち荊を焼き、リュグ達の家まで迫ってきました。 二人は必死に草木を庇い火を消そうとしましたが、火の勢いが凄く、全く歯が立ちません。 そうこうしているうちに、炎はダイアンサスの大樹と二人の家を飲み込んでしまいます。 リュグは未だなお火を消そうとしているシャラを抱き、炎の中を駆け抜け、脱出しました。
But on a certain day, something happened. An enormous disaster for both of them happened. That day, Ryugg was going around, watering all of the trees and flowers in the forest.
But then, he encountered something unthinkable. Somehow, part of the forest of thorns had been burned away!
This was all done by the humans. The human king, incapable of enduring the fact that he would never be able to have the flowers of eternal youth, the Dianthus, no matter how much he waited, had ordered his army to completely burn away the forest.
The flames burned away all the thorns in an instant, and drew near the house where Ryugg and Shela lived.
They desperately tried to protect the vegetation and put out the fire, but the fire was too fierce, and they couldn't do anything against it. Meanwhile, the flames had already swallowed the Dianthus tree, and their house.
Ryugg held Shela, who was still trying to put out the great fire, and ran through the flames, barely escaping alive.

命からがら逃げ出した二人は、夜の森で炎を見ていました。 シャラはしくしくと泣いていました。リュグは慰めようと懸命に頑張りましたが、 それはシャラの心を逆撫でするだけでした。 「あのダイアンサスの樹は、おばあさんが死んでも守り抜いた、とても大切な樹 だったのに...貴方のせいで護れなかった...」 シャラはそう言って、リュグを責めました。リュグは言いました。 「ごめんよ。でも僕は僕の一番大切なものを護りたかった。だから、抱えてでも連れてきたんだ。 だってそれは、君なのだから」 シャラは胸がきゅんとなりましたが、余計に顔を合わせられなくて、ずっと俯いてしまいました。
These two, who barely escaped alive, then watched the remains of the forest under the night sky. Shela just sobbed and cried, and while Ryugg did the best he could to comfort her, that only rubbed her the wrong day.
"That was the Dianthus tree that your grandmother loved so much, that she protected it until her death... It's all your fault.. all your fault that I couldn't protect it..."
Shela said these words, and blamed Ryugg for all of it. Ryugg then said:
"Forgive me. But I was able to protect what I hold dearest in this world, even if that meant holding and pulling it here. And that is no other than you, Shela."
While this tightened Shela's heart, it didn't show much in her expressions, and she spent the rest of the time depressed.
次の日、シャラはその場を動きたがりませんでした。リュグはシャラの為に食べ物を採ってきたまし た。次の日も、その次の日も、シャラはそこに座っていました。 リュグはシャラの為に、そこに家を造り、雨風を凌ぐことにしました。 その間、リュグはシャラに食事を作ってあげたり、毛布を被せてあげたりしました。 ですが、シャラの機嫌は全く良くなりません。何をやっても塞いだまま。顔を向かい合わせれば、 ぷいと横を向いてしまいます。 何日経ってもシャラは動こうとしませんでしたが、朝起きるといつも食事が無くなっているので、 それ程心配はしていませんでした。
For the next few days, Shela didn't move at all from that spot. Ryugg gathered all the food he could find for her, but that day, and even the one after it, Shela just sat in the same place. For her, Ryugg also made a house, one that could withstand the wind and rain.
During this time, he also made food for Shela, and covered her with blankets when she slept. However, her mood didn't improve in any way.
No matter what he did, she was completely silent. And whenever they made eye contact, she immediately looked aside.
Shela spent many days like this, but one morning, when she woke up, she noticed that the usual food wasn't beside her. But that wasn't still enough for her to worry.

ある日、リュグは少し遠くに出掛けるからしばらく帰らないと言い、出て行きました。 シャラはその日もぷいとして見送りました。 それから三日が経ち、五日が経ち...リュグが全く帰ってこない事に、だんだん心配になってきまし た。お腹が空いたので、自分で木の実を見つけては食べたりしていましたが、とても不安で寂しか ったのです。 そしてあっという間に1ヶ月が経ってしまいました。 シャラはもうさすがに居ても立ってもいられなくなり、その辺を探し始めました。 森中を歩き、リュグを探しましたが、リュグは見つかりませんでした。 三十二日目の夜、ついにシャラは泣き出してしまいました。リュグがいない事が、こんなに寂しく て不安で辛い事だと思わなかったのです。 そしてあまりの悲しさに荊の森を作り、その中に閉じこもってしまいました。
One day, Ryugg told her that he would be going to a little faraway place, and that he wouldn't be returning for some time, and then he departed. Even in such a situation, Shelanoir just saw him off with her distant attitude.
After this, three days, then five days passed... and since Ryugg didn't return yet, she gradually began to worry. Whenever she was hungry, she looked for fruits and ate them, but that didn't calm her anxiety, and the gripping loneliness she was feeling.
Then, 1 month passed. Shela couldn't just continue staying put like she had, and she began searching for him in the neighboring areas. She went around the forest, looking for Ryugg, but she couldn't find him.
Then, on the 32nd night after Ryugg's departure, Shela began crying. She never thought that she would be so lonely and anxious if Ryugg had disappeared.
And in her great sadness, she made another forest of thorns, and secluded herself within it.

After that, many months passed, and within the forest, a flower field, beautiful enough to dazzle anyone who looked at it, finally grew. And finally, on a certain day, a lone boy came, and entered the forest of thorns.
His clothes, and the tail he was so proud of, became all tattered, but he crossed over the flower field, and went on to head to the place beyond, where a single girl was sleeping.

その少女は気配に気づき、眠い目を擦りながら起き上がりました。そして目の前にいる若者の姿を 見て、とても驚きました。 「ただいま。ずっと一人にしてしまってごめんよ、僕の大切なシャラ」 若者はそれだけ言うと、呆然と立ちつくすばかりシャラの前にしゃがみ、見上げながら小さなダ イアンサスの鉢植えを差し出しました。 「とても遠い国にしか咲かない花なんだ。前にお祖母さんに贈ったのを、シャラが一生懸命育てて くれただろう？ もちろん、お祖母さんのダイアンサスの代わりにはならないけど...これをシャラにあげる。 だから、機嫌直しておくれよ。...ね？」 シャラは目から涙がぽろぽろ止まらなくなり、リュグにぎゅっと抱きつきました。 そしてリュグの胸でわんわん泣きました。 リュグはそんなシャラを、よしよししてあげました。
The girl noticed his presence, and rubbed her sleepy eyes as she rose up. Then she looked at the boy before her, in great surprise.
"I'm back. I'm sorry for leaving you all alone all this time, my dearest Shela." The boy said all this, and then held in front of the surprised Shela something, which on a closer look was a small potted Dianthus plant, and gave it to her.
"This flower only grows in very far away country. I sent one of them to my grandmother as a gift, and that was the one you struggled so much to grow, right?
Of course, it'll never be able to replace the Dianthus that grandmother grew with so much care but... I'll give this one to you. So please... could you go back to how you used to be?"
From Shela's eyes, many large tears began falling without stop, and she embraced Ryugg tightly.
Then, she cried into his chest. Ryugg then patted her head, and began comforting her.
「今度は誰にも邪魔されないように、遠いところに旅に出よう。 そしてまた、大きな大きなダイアンサスの樹に育てよう。 二人の愛をいっぱい込めて、天国のおばあさんからもよく見えるように......」
"So that no one will interfere this time, let's travel to a faraway place, and in there, let's raise a large, great Dianthus tree. Let's fill it to the brim with our love, so Grandmother will be able to see it from the Heavens..."

この神話はテル族に伝わる「ZeeiFaLea（ズィーファレア：神と共に在る物語）」と呼ばれる神話編の1編で、植物の神シャ ラノワールとの対話を描いたものだ。度々「しっぽ」と出てくるように、リュグはテル族。そして、森を焼く王は「人間」と 書くれている。テル族は自然との対話を大切にする種族であり、森を切り開く人間とは対立関係になることも多かったと言わ れている。 こういった神話が身近に存在するテル族にとって、当然植物も「自らと対等な命」という認識でいる。それは植物のみなら ず、動物や虫や、風に至るまで、全てがそうなのだ。
This is a myth called [ZeeiFaLea (The Story of Living with the Gods)], and as one of the main myths told by the Teru, this depicts an interaction with Shelanoire, the Goddess of Plants.
As you might have imagined from the "tail" that came up frequently in it, Ryugg is a Teru, and the king that ordered the forest to be burned down was written as a [human].The Teru are a race that greatly value their relationship with nature, and thus, it's said that they had a long history of antagonism with the humans that cut down the forests.
From a myth like this, you can see how the Teru recognize all of the natural plants as [lives equal to their own].
And this isn't only limited to the plants: they also consider everything, from the animals, to the insects, to even the wind; this same way.

シェスティネは「森の王」と呼ばれており、世界中の森の全ての要素がここにある、と言われている。それはシャラノワー ルが、ここに初めて植物を育んだからである。動物を司るレーレやサキと共に、この地から地上に新たな命を紡ぎ出したと いうのである。そんな歴史からもこの地はシャラノワールにとっての聖地とも言われており、今回の神話以外も様々なエピ ソードが存在する。 そんなシェスティネは、歴史上でも長い間テル族（人間と他の生命とのハーフ）による聖地として栄えてきた。そして、テ ル族にとって惑星の意志は「畏れ多き者」ではなく、「親愛なる隣人」である。人間とは違うインターフェイス（感覚）を持 ったテル族にとって、神は偉大で畏れ多い存在という意識は少なく、どちらかというと、隣の世界に住む人達という意識が強 いようである。その為、他の地域の神話と違い、とても身近でかわいらしい存在として描かれているのが 特徴となっている。 テル族を多数抱えるシェスティネは、この世界の様々な波動に最も近い場所と言われており「世界の真理が在る場所」と言 われていた。そこでは世界との対話による生活が主となり、文明はほとんど芽生えず、完全なる自然崇拝であったという。テ ル族達は元々この地に多数存在したわけではなく、集まってきたのである。その1つの要因は、唄石の埋蔵量が格段に多い為 ではないかと言われている。唄石はH波（想いの波動）を増幅する為、この世界の外側（物理空間の外側）の住人とコンタ クトを取りやすい。惑星の意志達とのコンタクトも相当取っていたとの事であり、この神話も半ば実話ではないかと言われる ことが多い。人間や動物を司る意志であるサキとの話も、このズィーファレアの 中には間違いなくあることだろう。
Syestine is called [the King of the Forests], and this is because it's said that the components that make up all the forests in the world can be found right here.
That is because Shelanoir grew the very first plants in this place. Likewise, the Wills that govern over the animals, such as Lere and Saki, all created the new lives on the surface of this land.
From that history, it's easy to see how this land became a holy ground to Shelanoir, and aside from the myth we previously showed, there are many other episodes related to her.
Due to all of this, the Terus (halfbloods between humans and other lifeforms) have prospered during all of its history, and this was why it was praised as a holy land.
And the Terus don't consider the Wills of the Planet as [Awe-inspiring Beings], but instead as [Beloved Companions]. To the Teru, who have a completely different interface (feelings) from the humans, the Gods aren't beings that can be recognized as awe-inspiring due to their greatness, although a few of them did have that mentality due to the humans from the neighboring regions forcing it on them.
Because of this, their myths differ from the ones of other regions because of this special characteristic: they depict the Gods as very familiar, and lovely beings.
The many Teru who lived in Syestine, who could feel the places where the various waves of this world had their lowest and highest values, also said that Syestine was [the place in which the truth of the world exists].
Given that their interaction with the world was the main part of their lives, their civilization didn't advance much, and was completely dedicated to the worship of nature.
Originally, there weren't many Teru in the land, but later on, they all gathered here. It's said that one of the reasons for this was due to the great number of Songstone deposits in the region, but this has been questioned by many.
Given that the Songstones are used to amplify H-Waves (the Waves of Feelings), they actually made it easier to contact with the inhabitants of areas outside of this region (outside of its physical space).
Given the great number of accounts that told about establishing contact with the Wills of the Planet, many say that this myth could be partly true as well, since it's unmistakable that within ZeeiFaLea there is a part of contact with Saki, who governs over the humans and animals.

シェスティネはソル・クラスタの中に存在する一地域である。それ故に、当然クラスタ系に人々との関係は数多くある。た だ、残念なことに、そのほとんどは戦争の歴史である。なぜなら、ソル・クラスタの人間は度々このシェスティネを支配し開 発しようとしたからである。今回の物語でも森を焼く王が登場するが、シェスティネを領土であると主張していた隣国エル・ ディジェーラの王だと言われている。
Syestine is a region located within the territory of Sol Cluster. Because of this, naturally there has been a great number of contact with the Clusterian people. However, this was only for the worse, since their history together consists mostly of wars and conflicts.
All of this stems from the many attempts by the humans from Sol Cluster to control and exploit Syestine. While in this story there also was a king who ordered to burn away this forest, it's said that he actually was the king of the neighboring kingdom of El Daijyella, who repeatedly claimed the territories of Syestine as his own.

シェスティネはシャラノワールにとっては我が家のようなものであり、それ故にエピソードは沢山あ る。ズィーファレアの中でも登場回数ダントツだ。その中でも特に有名なのは、珠洲ノ宮と共に描 かれる「花の道」、そしてディジアとの「森と火山のケンカ」であろう。
Given that Shelanoir considered Syestine to be her own home, there are many episodes related to her in here.
However, ZeeiFaLea is just the best example of it, due to the great number of times she appeared. However, there are other famous myths as well, such as one in which she appears together with Suzunomiya, called the [Flower Road], and other in which she conflicted with Dijya, called [The Quarrel Between the Forest and the Volcano].

シャラノワールは悩んでいた。にょ？が森を荒らすからだ。でも、にょ？を森から追い払うわけに はいかなかった。なぜなら、親友の咲夜琉命（サキ）がプレゼントしてくれたものだからだ。にょ？ は木の皮をめりめりと食べるものだから、木がどんどん枯れてしまう。オマケにものすごい繁殖力で 手に負えない。するとそこへ珠洲ノ宮がやってきた。珠洲ノ宮は、自分はにょ？を何とかする事が出 来ると言う。シャラノワールは是非にとお願いすると、1つだけ手伝って欲しいと言う。にょ？に唄 石を持たせて欲しいと言うのだ。シャラノワールは一生懸命にょ？のしっぽに唄石を持たせた。全部 持たせ終わったことを珠洲ノ宮に伝えると、珠洲ノ宮は歌を歌い始める。珠洲ノ宮の歌は、にょ？の 持っている唄石によってにょ？を動かし、にょ？を一斉に踊らせた。そしてそのまま、にょ？と一緒 に森を出て行ってしまったのだ。にょ？の大行進の果てに、森には昔の平穏が訪れた。その珠洲ノ 宮はにょ？を先導して世界各地にばらまいた。それによって、今までシェスティネしか無かった唄 石が世界中にばらまかれ、世界中の人々が詩の力の恩恵を受けることが出来るようになったという。 メシスの民なのだ。
Shelanoir was worried because the Nyo?s were destroying the forest, yet she didn't want to expel them from it. This was because they were presents that her dear friend Sakiyarumei (Saki) had given her.
But since the Nyo?s fed off from the bark of the trees, this ended up causing them to quickly wither away. And to make matters worse, they had a completely uncontrollable fertility.
But then, Suzunomiya came to the forest. She wondered what she could do about the problem with the Nyo?s, and then, she asked Shelanoir to help her with a task. This task was to give Songstones to the Nyo?s.
Shelannoir did her best at collecting the Songstones, and affixed them to the Nyo?s' tails. When she had finished, she told Suzunomiya, and then, Suzunomiya began singing a song.
This song made the Nyo?s move thanks to the Songstones in their tails, and thus, she left the forest with them. At the end of this large Nyo? parade, the forest returned to its old peace.
Suzunomiya led the Nyo?s to each area of the world, and made them scatter all about it. Thanks to this, the Songstones, which initially only existed in Syestine, scattered all over the world, and it's said that this was what allowed the people in the world to receive the blessing of the power of the Songs.

[The Quarrel Between the Forest and the Volcano] Deiji (Dijya)
隣国エル・ディジェーラとの関係を神話にしたものであるという説が有力ではあるが、「森と火山 のケンカ」というお話しで、シャラノワールとディジアの話が描かれている。とても食いしん坊のディ ジア神（火山）は、国民に食べ物（生け贄）を毎日のようにせびっていた。食べ物を貢がなければ怒 り、溶岩で街を押し流すものだから、国民はほとほと困り果てていた。だが、もっと困っていたのは シャラノワールだった。なぜなら、食べた後にディジアなげっぷをし、その度に火の玉がシェスティ ネに訪れた。そこでシャラノワールはその男に1つの球根を与えたのだ。この「ムーシェリエルの球 根」を食べさせればおなか一杯になって、二度と食糧をせびらないでしょう、と。男はその球根を持 って、ディジア神の口に投げ込んだ。すると球根はみるみる大きくなって、その口を塞いでしまった。 以後、二度と食べ物をせびることは無かったという。
While there is a very plausible theory about this story being a myth describing the relationships with the neighboring kingdom of El Daijyella, it actually describes something that happened between Shelanoir and Dijya.
The God (Volcano) Dijya was an insatiable glutton, and every day demanded a ration of food (a human sacrifice) from the people of El Daijyella.
If they didn't give him food, he would get angry, and destroy the city with lava, which caused great distress to the people. However, Shelanoir was far more distressed by this, because every time after Dijya ate, he would spit fireballs into the sky, which then would fall into Syestine.
Because of this, she gave a bulb to a man. She told him that once Dijya ate this [Moocheriel Bulb], his stomach would be so filled that he wouldn't need to eat ever again.
The man took this bulb, and threw into God Dijya's mouth. Immediately the bulb became enormous, and completely closed his mouth. After this, Dijya didn't have any need to continue demanding food.

Rhaplanca always appeared when the city had turned into ruins.
And then, she always had to decide between protecting or not protecting this world, which was abandoned by the Gods. Thus, when the time came for her final story to be chronicled, she couldn't avoid despairing.
その街はやはり荒廃していた。 大樹インプランタを中心とする巨大な都市エルム。 そこに住まう人々は皆、物に溺れ、愛に溺れ、権力に溺れていた。 街を象徴する大樹はとうの昔に枯れ、今では灰色の木肌を晒すのみであった。 そんな中、ラプランカは生まれた。彼女はこの街で由緒正しき神殿の巫女として 生を受けたのである。ラプランカは俗世から隔離された神殿の中で暮らし、徳の深い教えを学んだ。 そして彼女は、荒んだエルムの良心となってゆく。 彼女は身分や貧富を問わず、毎日困っている人を助け、奉仕活動を続けた。
That city was absolutely devastated.
This was the great metropolis of Elm, which had the great tree of Implanta at its heart.
The great tree that symbolized this city had been withering away since a long time ago, and now, only its gray bark showed this.
Under these circumstances, Rhaplanca was born, as the last of the legitimate members in a priestess lineage of the city. She lived inside the temple, away from this earthly life, and was deeply instructed in the precepts of benevolence.
Thus, she was very worried about the ruined city of Elm. She didn't care about social status or money, she just helped the troubled people every day, and just continued with her voluntary service.

While she was revered by some of the people as a saint, most of the populace just looked at her with cold eyes.
彼女のその弛まぬ奉仕活動はまた、彼女にもう一つの転機をもたらした。 領主の一人息子マオが奉仕活動中の彼女に一目惚れをし、父親に結婚をせびったのだ。 かくしてラプランカは16歳のある日、マオと共に人生を歩む事となる。
She was still doing her voluntary service diligently, when a turning point came to her life.
Maoh, the only son of the city's lord, had fallen in love at first sight with Rhaplanca when she was doing her voluntary service, and he persuaded his father into allowing him to marry her.
Thus, when Rhaplanca was 16 years old, her life and Maoh's crossed paths.
マオはこの退廃した街を治める領主の一人息子らしく、大変な傍若無人であった。 ラプランカはマオの一目惚れから、父である領主の圧力によって結婚させられることになった。 マオはラプランカにぞっこんで、彼女を喜ばせようといつも一生懸命であった。 父に買ってもらったり街で奪ったりした金銀宝石や、珍しい異国の果実をたんまりと持っていった り、無理矢理連れてきた楽団に演奏を披露させたりした。 だが、ラプランカは一度たりもマオに微笑みを返したことはなかった。 マオはそれが全く納得いかなかった。なぜならラプランカは微笑まないわけではないからだ。 そしてその微笑みはいつも、自分ではない、下賤な者に向けられていたからである。 彼女は毎日のように街出掛けていく。そして、マオが一目惚れしたあの時と同じように、今でも 貧しい人や病気の人に施しをしたり癒したりしている。 そういうときは決まって、彼女は最高の笑顔をその者達に向けるのである。
Maoh, as would be typical of the only children of the lord of a city that was falling into decay, was an extremely arrogant person.
And because of his love for her, Maoh's father forced her to marry him.
Despite this, Maoh did his best to make Rhaplanca happy. He gave her many jewels, gold and rare fruits from other countries, regardless of whether they were bought by his father or whether he took them from the townspeople.
He also forced music troupes to play for them.
However, Rhaplanca never returned even a single smile to Maoh. To Maoh, this was completely incomprehensible, because Rhaplanca never smiled at him.
Yet when she smiled, it wasn't for him, but for the poor and the humble. She always went out to the city, and like the time when Maoh first fell in love with her, she still continued performing charity by healing the sick and comforting the poor.
There it was that he noticed that her most beautiful smile was reserved for these people.

ある日マオは、さすがにいたたまれなくなり、ラプランカの奉仕活動に付いていくことにした。 最初はただ後ろから眺めているだけだったが、あまりに活き活きと活動しているラプランカを見て、 ふと自分も何かやってみたと思った。 その時、ラプランカは初めて彼に向けて微笑んだ。 マオは驚き、その後嬉しさで一杯になった。自分が一番欲しかったものが手に入 れたマオは、更に気張ってラプランカを手伝った。だが、それも一瞬の事だった。 なぜなら、自分に向けられた笑顔は、街に溢れる下賤な者に向けられるそれと同じだと気づいてし まったからだ。 マオは途端に気分が悪くなり、手伝いを放り投げて帰ってしまった。 そしてそれ以降、一度も奉仕活動を共にすることはなかった。
One day, Maoh unexpectedly decided to accompany Rhaplanca as she performed her voluntary service.
While at the beginning he only watched her from behind, after watching Rhaplanca work so hard, he suddenly decided to try doing it as well.
That time, Rhaplanca smiled at him for the first time.
Maoh was surprised, and that happiness allowed him to work his hardest. If he could have what he desired the most, he would work the hardest he could to help Rhaplanca. However, even that was just temporary.
And this was because he noticed that the smile that Rhaplanca gave him was exactly the same she gave to the poor and humble that overflowed the streets of the city.
Instantly, Maoh's mood worsened, and he returned to leaving Rhaplanca alone in her duty. After this, he never went to help Rhaplanca even once.
その後、マオはラプランカを束縛するようになる。自分以外の者に笑顔を見せる 事が嫌で仕方なかったのである。 ラプランカの外出は制限され、マオはより力づくで彼女を笑わせようと必死になっていた。 だが、それとは裏腹に、彼女は沈んでいくのみだった。 そんな日々が続く中、彼女はある日神殿で、信奉する神ユークリッダから恐ろしい啓示を受ける。 それは、たった今よりこの地の全てを粉々に砕くというものであった。 そして自らの選定した選ばれし民を、新たな地メテル・フィリオスへと導くというのである。
After this, he even went to the extreme of practically confining Rhaplanca, since he couldn't help but hate that Rhaplanca smiled to everyone except him.
Her walks to the city were restricted, and Maoh desperately encouraged her to smile at him, which made him feel more invigorated.
However, this only made her much more depressed.
The days continued like this for a while, and one day while she was at the temple, she received a terrible revelation from the God she worshiped: Juklizda.
The revelation was that the land would be completely destroyed right now. And then, the ones selected by Him would be led to the new land of Metel Filios.

神はその者達の名を挙げ、彼らを導くよう命じた。 ラプランカは涙しながら世界を砕くことを止めて欲しいと嘆願したが。ユークリッ ダはそれを聞き入れなかった。 人間は失敗作である、それ故にごく一部の清き魂を除いては全てを滅すると。 ラプランカは人間の可能性を信じていた。 だから、自らが人々を昔のように清く正しい姿に導く事を約束した。 だがユークリッダは言った。
God had already chosen these people, and ordered them to lead the others.
Rhaplanca cried, and she appealed to Juklizda in an attempt to stop Him from destroying the world. However, Juklizda ignored her pleas.
The humans were failed creations, and thus, with the exception of a few that still had pure souls, all of them would be annihilated.
Yet still, Rhaplanca believed in their potential.
Because of this, she promised to lead them to purity and righteousness, like she did ages ago.
But then, Juklizda spoke:
「自らの夫一人すらも改心させられないのに、世界中の人間を改心させられるものか」
"If you cannot reform your own husband, what hope do you have of reforming the rest of the people in this world?"
そして天に向けて高らかに手を上げると、世界を破壊する鐘の音が鳴り響いた。 それは、この世界の終焉が始まる音であった。
Then, He raised his hands, producing a sound that rang as high as the Heavens.
Then, the knell of this world's destruction resounded. That was the sound that beckoned the end of this world.
既に世界は瓦礫と死体で埋め尽くされていた。 空はまっ赤に燃え、川は煮えたぎっていた。 大地は割け、その一部は空へと浮かび、そして他は奈落の底へと崩れていっている。 ラプランカは絶望した。あの浮いている大地にそが、唯一助かる場所であろう。 一体の大きな木......枯れに大樹インプランタに浮島の1つが隣接しており、既に沢山人が樹に向か っている。人々を助けないと...！！
The world was already completely covered in rubble and corpses. The skies glowed a bright red, and the rivers boiled. The land was cut open, and part of it floated to the skies, while the rest of it fell to the bottom of the abyss.
Rhaplanca despaired. That floating land was the only place where salvation could be found.
A large tree... the great, withered tree of Implanta was adjacent to the floating island, and many people already headed to the tree. She had to save them...!!

ラプランカは意を決して神殿の外に出た。 すると、そこへマオが息せき切らせて走って来る。ラプランカが心配で、神殿まで駆けてきたのだ。 マオは何も言わずにラプランカの腕を引っ張り、走り出した。 ラプランカは皆を助けたいと伝えたが、マオは逃げるのが先だと強引に引っ張り走った。
Rhaplanca then decided to go outside the temple.
Immediately, Maoh came to her running, trying to catch his breath. He was worried for her, and thus came running to the temple as fast as he could. Without saying anything, he immediately took Rhaplanca's arm, and began running.
Although Rhaplanca told him she wanted to save everyone, he still continued running while pulling her by the arm.
マオはインプランタへと向かっていた。 程なくインプランタの下に辿り着うた二人は、異様な光景を目の当たりにした。 枯れたインプランタには、おびただしい人がへばりついて、上へ上と登っていたのだ。 それはあたかも、大木が断末魔の叫びを上げながらもがき苦しんでいるように見える。 呆然とするラプランカをよそに、マオが木に向かって走っていく。 そして、木を登ろうとしている人を一人、また一人と引っぺがし、ラプランカの 為に道を作っていくた。マオはまず自らが樹に登り、早く！とラプランカを引き上げようとする。 だがラプランカは登らなかった。一人でも多くの人をこの木に誘いたかったのだ。 ラプランカは逃げ遅れた人々を助けるべく、木から離れようと後ろを向く。 しかし瞬間、ばきっとに大きな音がしたかと思うと木が倒れ始めたのである！ 枯れたインプランタが、人々を支えきれなくなったのだ。 このままでは木に登っている人達は全員、倒れる木と共に地面に打付けられるだろう。 そんな事は決してあってはならない......。
Maoh was headed to Implanta.
Soon enough, they reached the base of the tree, and a bizarre scene unfolded before their eyes.
An immeasurable number of people were clinging to the withered tree of Implanta,
and were climbing higher and higher through it.
It was as if the great tree was unleashing screams of agony, which make this a particularly painful scene to see.
While Rhaplanca was still dazed from this sight, Maoh ran towards to the tree.
And then, as he climbed through it, he pulled some of the people away, making a way for Rhaplanca. Maoh climbed first the tree, and then shouted "Hurry!" as he pulled Rhaplanca to get her up. However, Rhaplanca didn't climb.
Instead, she allowed not just one, but a great number of people to climb the tree before her. She believed she had to help the people to escape from death, and then she separated from the tree and turned away from it. But in that same instant, a great rumble was heard, and then as she had thought, the tree began to fall!
Now it had withered so much, Implanta was unable to sustain this amount of people.
If things continued this way, all of the people that climbed into the tree would fall and crash into the ground with it. That was something that couldn't be allowed to happen, no matter what...

そしてラプランカは、自らが礎となることを決意した。
Then, Rhaplanca decided to transform herself into a cornerstone.
神に祈り、たった一度の奇跡を使う。 そして神はそれを承諾し、彼女は自らの身体を巨大な石とする事に成功したのだ。 石となったラプランカは、大樹インプランタが寄り掛かってもビクともしない。 彼女の願いは天に届いたのである。 だが、それを見ていたマオは仰天し、木から飛び降りた。 そしてラプランカの元へとゆき、既に石となりかけている自らの妻に向かって泣き叫んだのだ！
She prayed to the Gods, to allow her to use just a single miracle. And then, the Gods bestowed this to her, and she successfully transformed her body into a large rock.
Now that Rhaplanca had become a rock, no matter how much the great tree of Implanta leaned, it wouldn't fall down. Her wishes had reached the Heavens.
However, once Maoh saw this, he screamed in horror, and jumped off the tree.
Then he ran to Rhaplanca crying and screaming, while the body of his wife was already mostly transformed into stone!
「何故！？どうしてそんな事を！！俺を一人にしないでくれ！！頼む...... 俺はお前さえ生きていてくれれば、それでいいんだ！！ お前の笑顔が、俺にとって最高の幸せなんだよ......」
"Why!? Why have you done this!!? Don't leave me alone!! Please... Even if only you remained alive, that would have been enough to me!! Your smile was what made me the happiest person in the world... "
ただ泣き叫びうろたえる自分の旦那に、ラプランカは微笑みながらこう言うのであった。
Then, Rhaplanca spoke to her husband while holding a gentle smile on her face, while he still cried and screamed.
「私の愛する旦那様。どうか生き延びてください。 私は我が神ユークリッダと約束をしましだ。己の魂をもって、皆を助けるようにと。 だから、一人でも多くの民をこの木に誘導して救ってください。 そしてどうか、新しい世界では全ての人が隣人を愛し、与え、感謝する
"My beloved husband, please, make sure to live a long life. I made a promise with my God, Juklizda. By using my soul, I shall save everyone.
So please, make sure to lead all the people with you to this tree and save them.
And please, once you reach the new world, make sure to love, give, and thank all the people as your companions,

そんな国を築いてくださいませ。 今それが出来るのは、旦那様だけです。 以前一度だけ手伝っていただいたことがありましたね。 あの時の貴方の活き活きとした笑顔、決して忘れません。 だから私は信じています。貴方が誰にも愛を与える事が出来る人だと。 どうか妻の最後の願い、聞き届けてください.........」
and make a new country with these same principles. Right now, you are the only one who can do this, my dearest. You helped me only once back then, correct?
Then, please, never forget that smile I gave you when you were working so hard.
That is why I believe in you, that you are the person who can give love more than anyone else.
So please be sure to grant me this... the final wish of your wife..."
そしてラプランカは完全に石と化した。 マオはしばらくその場で泣きじゃくっていたが、涙を拭い、決意をし、街中を駆けめぐった。 そして、怪我をした人、動けない老人、子供を担いでは、何度も何度も木を上り下りした。
And then, Rhaplanca completely turned into a rock.
Maoh stood in that place for some time, crying in silence, but then, he wiped off his tears, and with a newfound determination, he ran back into the city.
And then, he took the injured, the aged and the children, and carried many, many of them to the tree, and helped them climb.
次第に周囲はかっかと熱くなってきた。 遠くからまっ赤に煮えたぎった溶岩が押し寄せてくる。遂にこの世界の終焉が訪れたのだ。 マオは溶岩がインプランタに到達する瞬間まで、人々を助け続けた。 がむしゃらに、無心で助け続けた。 そして最後の一人を浮島に運び終えたとき、浮島の下に溶岩が流れ込んだ。 浮島は溶岩に浮かぶ島となり、人々は皆縮こまり、熱さに耐えながらただ祈った。 マオは、神に祈った。生まれて初めて、自らの為でなく、この世界の為に、そしてラプランカの為 に祈った。その様子を一部始終見ていた神ユークリッダは、マオの心へと語りかける。
Gradually, everything around began burning in an scorching red. From far away, a bright red, burning lava began flowing down to them. The end of this world had finally come.
Until the instant in which the lava reached Implanta, Maoh continued helping the people.
It might have been reckless, but he innocently continued saving them. And once the last person had finally reached the floating island, the lava below began flowing all around. The floating island then became an island floating in the lava, with the people squeezing on it, and praying while they endured the incredible heat.
Maoh prayed, too. For the very first time in his life, he prayed not for himself, but for this world, and for Rhaplanca. And at this time, since the very first time He appeared, God Juklizda spoke to Maoh's heart.

「お前はどうしようもなく酷い奴だったが、 その行いに免じて、今残る大地と、そこにいる人々をお前に託そう。 だが、後世お前の妻との約束を守り続けよ」
"You were a person cruel beyond anything this world has known, yet I shall forgive you for these actions, and entrust the land that remained, and the people in it to you.
However, you must continue keeping the promise you made to your wife for the rest of your life."
マオはユークリッダと約束をした。 自らの愛する妻の最後の言葉を決して忘れないことを。 そして、この地に住まう全ての命が、未来永劫誠実であることを。 その瞬間、溶岩は冷え、大地は固まった。この地は、広大な高原となったのである。
Maoh promised so to Juklizda.
That he would never forget the last words that his beloved wife told him. And that every life that inhabited this world would be sincere for the rest of eternity.
In that instant, the lava cooled down, and the land became firm again. Then, it became a vast plateau.
マオは、ラプランカとの約束を守り、人々を善い方向へと導いていった。 そして、この新たな地は、神の付けた名の通り「メテル・フィリオス」と呼ばれるようになり、新 たな世界として再出発したのである。
Maoh kept his promise to Rhaplanca, and led the people in a way few rulers have done.
And then, this new land, which was named [Metel Filios] as the Gods had dictated, restarted as a completely new world.
こうして、後に「メタ・ファルス」と呼ばれる地が誕生した。 溶岩の彼が生み出した険しい高原は、神の怒りとその時の約束の象徴であった。 そして人々は欲を捨て、隣人を愛し、己の中にある神との対話を目指すようになったのだ。 あの日、マオがそうであったように。
Thus, this was how the land that later on came to be known as [Metafalss] was born.
The rugged plateau that was created by the lava is a symbol of the rage of the Gods and the promise that was made with them.
In that moment, the people cast off their greed, and lived loving their companions, and attempting to be able to converse with the Gods within themselves, in the same way that Maoh did on that fateful day.

ラプランカ伝承最後話であるこの物語は、メタ・ファルスという世界の誕生ストーリーになっている。メタ・ファルスの人々 がスピリチュアル思想を受け入れる為に、この物語はとても役に立っている。すなわちこの神話によって、「我々はこの世界 に生かされている」という謙虚な心を身につけるのだ。また、「世界の終焉で生き延びる事を許された人々の末裔」という設 定も、選ばれし者であり、それ故に期待を裏切らないよう日々誠実に生きることを心がける意味づけをしている。 物語はラプランカとマオという男女関係によって成り立っているが、これが結婚しているにもかかわらず、全く恋愛的な要 素を含まないのが特徴となっている。ラプランカは完全なる「聖女」という立場で描かれており、マオに対する愛は「慈愛」 である。マオのラプランカに対する想いもあまりに幼く、それは美しくも醜い大人の愛のドラマとは一線を画している。愛や 情を蔑視するソル・クラスタも、愛や情を至上とするソル・シエールも、愛に対して何らかの強烈なアピールが物語に入って いるのに対し、メタ・ファルスの物語はあまりに人間離れしているのだ。この一連の「ラプランカ伝承」の中で最も人間くさ いと言われている「Salavec Rhaplanca（*1）」であっても、こと男女間の関係に関しては恐ろしい程に純潔なのである。こうし た愛に対してのストイックさは、このメタ・ファルスという地が、愛に関するマイナスの感情（嫉妬や裏切りなど）をそもそ も問題外として見ている為と言われている（そもそも道徳として教える事ですらない程の基本的な禁忌なのだ）。このような 道徳精神が後世脈々と受け継がれ、その最も濃い所である大鐘堂で教育を受けたクローシェがかなりの潔癖症である事も、 このことから頷けるというもの。 ドラマティックはソル・シエール、パワーのソル・クラスタに比べ、内向的で謙虚で潔癖な民族性のメタ・ファルス人。 その根底には、こういったラプランカ伝承が息づいているのである。
This is the finale of the Rhaplanca Legends, and it also is the story of how the world of Metafalss was born.
Because of the high level of acceptance the spiritual ideologies have among the people of Metafalss, this story serves as a great help to understand them. In other words, thanks to this myth, we know that they have a humble heart, carrying thoughts like [we were allowed to live in this world].
And since they were also [descendants of those who survived the end of the world, and were forgiven], and believe themselves to be chosen ones, they have to live up to the expectations left by their ancestors, and strive to live their lives in the most honest manner possible.
This story is essentially made of the relationship between Maoh and Rhaplanca, and despite them getting married during the course of it, it has the special feature of not containing any romantic elements.
Since Rhaplanca was completely depicted in the position of a [saint], her love for Maoh was simply [kindness].
On the other hand, the feelings that Maoh had for her were still pretty immature, which ended drawing a picture of a beautiful, yet ugly adult romantic drama.
In comparison to Sol Cluster, that looks at feeling and love with contempt, and to Sol Ciel, that holds feelings and love as supreme, the stories in Metafalss are pretty much unworldly, which have the appeal of putting as much love into them as severe lessons.
Even within the story that is said to be the most inhuman of the [Rhaplanca Legends] series, [Salavec Rhaplanca (*1)], it also depicts the relationships between men and women in a terrifyingly pure way.
Thus, the stoicism that makes the people of Metafalss so opposite to love is because the negative feelings that are associated to it (such as jealousy and betrayal) are seen as unthinkable things (they are fundamentally taboos that are taught as things that should never be done under their moral precepts).
This moral mentality has been passed down during many generations without interruption, and although Cloche, who was raised in the deepest parts of the Grand Bell and was educated in all aspects of this, can be an extremely fastidious person, even she nods her head in respect when she hears these precepts.
In comparison to the dramatic Sol Ciel and the powerful Sol Cluster, the people of Metafalss are a race of fastidious, yet humble and introvert people.
All of this is rooted in the moral precepts that live in the Rhaplanca Legends.

人間の世界におけるスピリチュアル思想と言えばメタ・ファルス。高山国家であり、周囲と断絶された地域であった為、世 界でも特異な文化を持つ。高原地帯はそのほとんどが、火山によって吹き出したマグマが固まって地質であり、そういった風 地がこの物語を更にリアルにしている。物語の育ちも悪く、厳しい自然と対峙することを宿命付けられたメタ・ファルスの民。 彼らはこの神話によって、自らに与えられた少ない資源を奪い争わずに生きて来れたのだ。 また、メタ・ファルスという地はその立地上、他の地域との交流が殆ど無かった。それにより文化がガラパゴス化（独自進化） し、様々なものが一種独特のものとなっていったのである。その最も良い事例が「古メタファルス律」と呼ばれる、この地独 自のヒュムノス語体系であろう。他の地域のヒュムノス語は、語感や発音したときの効果の有無から、経験則にとって確立し たいったものである。だが、古メタファルス律に関しては、こてと全く違う手法で確立されている。それはより数学的な形で 行われているのである。すなわち、メタ・ファルスではヒュムノス語は語学ではなく、数学（科学）という扱いなのだ。これ は他のどの地域にも見られない、独特の文化である。
If we had to mention a region with an strong spiritualistic ideology in the human world, that would be Metafalss.
Since this country existed in the highest mountains, and has been isolated from the other regions due to them, it has a culture unique in the world. Most of the plateau where they lived were formed from lava that was spewed by the volcano, which makes the story of Infelious Rhaplanca partially true.
Although the origins of the stories might be unpleasant, it also predestinated the people of Metafalss to have an strict nature, and to be able of take care of themselves.
It was because of this myth that they managed to live with the few resources they had without resorting to stealing or killing to gain them.
Of course, there is also the fact that due to the great altitude at which it's located, Metafalss had practically no contact with the other regions for most of its history.
Because of this, its culture changed to be pretty similar to the ecosystem of the Galapagos Islands (evolved in a unique way), and that itself also allowed its people to make many things that are unique to them.
The best example of this would be what we know as the [Ancient Metafalss Note], which is the unique Hymmnos Language system of this region.
While the other regions established rules based on empirical experiences, which put the focus on the pronunciation or language sense for their kinds of Hymmnos, this almost reduced to nothing their practical effects.
However, the Ancient Metafalss Note was established through a completely different method, which had a much more mathematical approach.
In other words, the Hymmnos Language wasn't considered as linguistics in Metafalss, and instead it was treated as mathematics (sciences).
This is another example of how unique their culture is, due to this approach never having even occurred to the people of other regions.

メタ・ファルスは神々との交流がさほど多くない地域である。その中でも特に有名のは、地名にも なっているレーレ、そして女の子の名前としても良く用いられる紗々の宮であろう。
As a region, Metafalss didn't have much contact with the Gods. However, there are a few famous cases of contact with the Gods, which even made a place to be named after Lere, and the other one, Sashanomiya, ended being partially used as a very popular name for girls.

あるところに、とても豊な国があった。食べ物にも飲み物にも困らない国だった。 そんな国に、一人の老婆が辿り着いた。ボロボロの衣でやせ衰え、今にも倒れそうだった。老婆は死にそうに身体 を引きずり、道行く人々に助けを乞うていた。「お願いです、喉がからからなのです。水を一杯くだ さいませんか」と。ところが国の人々は皆、だれも水をやらなかった。それどころか、老婆を汚いと 邪険にするまでいた。それでも、心ある僅かな人達から水を貰い、老婆は命を繋ぐことが出来た。 それから数ヶ月後、その国は大干ばつに見舞われる。どこの井戸からも一滴も水は出ず、皆苦しん でいた。そんな中、一人の老婆が辿り着いた。老婆は桶にたっぷりの水を背負っていた。老婆は水卸 ...水売りの旅商人だった。国の人々は競って老婆に群がり、ある者は金を置いて水を奪い、またある 者はただ水を奪う。不思議と老婆の桶から水は無くならず、人々は老婆の水を奪い続けた。心ない人々 が水を奪い終えて落ち着いた後、老婆はゆっくりととある家々を訪問した。そしてその家の人達にこ う伝えた。「私の名前はレーレ。先日は水を恵んでくれてありがとう。今日はお礼に参りました。ど うかこの水を飲んで元気になってください」そして老婆は桶ではなく、腰の水袋から水を与えた。次 の日、桶の水を飲んだ人々は皆、水になって死んでいた。その水は大地を潤し、そこから沢山の草木 が芽を出した。水袋の水を飲んだ人々は皆元気になり、その年の干ばつを乗り越えることが出来たの である。
In a certain place, there was a very abundant kingdom, where the people never had to worry about food or water.
One day, an old woman arrived at that land. She wore a tattered robe and looked very emaciated, so much that she seemed at the border of collapse. She was on the verge of dying, and asked the people that passed near her for help. "Please, my throat is completely parched. Would you be kind enough to give some water?"
However, no one gave her water. The most that people did was give her evil looks, as if she was something filthy.
However, a small number of people were generous enough to give her some water, and saved her life.
After this, a few months passed, and the kingdom was hit by a massive drought.
No matter where, all of the wells completely dried up, which caused great suffering to everyone. And in the middle of this, an old woman came to this place, carrying a gourd filled with water on her back.
She announced she was a traveling water reservoir... seller merchant. The people all ran to her like beasts, and after leaving behind some money, they took away part of the water, although there were others who simply stole it.
Mysteriously, the water never ran out from the gourd, so the people continued stealing and stealing. After these heartless people finished stealing the water away, the old woman went and calmly invited some people to a certain house.
And there, she told these people the following:
"My name is Lere. Thank you very much for having given water to me the other day, and today, I came to give you my gratitude for it. Please, drink this water until you feel better".
Then, she offered them water, not from the gourd, but from a water sack she was carrying on her hips. The next day, all of the people who drank the water from the gourd turned into water and died. That water nurtured the land, and caused the growth of many trees and grass.

「我々には業がある。だから、我々は決して堕落してはならない」 そう教えられているにもかかわらず、この地の人々は何度も堕落した。 あまりの堕落っぷりを見かぬた戦の神リステアは、いよいよこの地を浄化しなければならないと決 めた。そして、神々の軍団を作り、一夜にして滅する事を決めた。その為の兵団として、リステアは 「蛇刳」という魔神を創りあげた。土から作られる蛇刳は、ほぼ無限の軍隊となったのだ。そしてこ の地はリステア率いる神の軍団のよって襲われたのだ。だが、同じ神でもそれを良しとしない神もい た。それが紗々の宮であった。紗々の宮はこの地の人々の側に付き、人々に様々な知恵を与えた。だ が、膨大な数の魔神蛇刳の前に、紗々の宮の知恵は太刀打ち出来ないでいた。紗々の宮はそれでも諦 めず、知恵を絞って考えた。そして1つの解決策を得た。紗々の宮は人々に街を出て山に登って欲し いと言った。人々は街を出たら最後の一片まで蛇刳に潰されてしまう、と抗議した。だが紗々の宮は 皆の力と勇気が必要だと促した。渋々街の人達は紗々の宮と街を出た。山に登る間も、蛇刳が襲って きた為何人かが死んだ。みんなヘトヘトだったが、紗々の宮は皆の力が必要と言った。山を登り切る と、そこにはダムがあった。そしてなんと紗々の宮はこのダムを皆の力で決壊させて欲しいと言うの だ。街の人達は青さめたが、紗々の宮を信じて力を合わせてダムを壊した。すると、ダムの水は濁流 となって街を飲み込んでしまった。街の人達はこの世の終わりを感じたが、良く見ると蛇刳が一体残 らず足から溶けていた。蛇刳は土から作られた魔神だから、水を吸えば泥になる。 こうして蛇刳は一夜にして全てが泥に還っていった。
"We all have karma. So we must never fall into depravity".
Despite these teachings, the people of this land fell countless times into depravity.
This reached the point where the God of War, Listea, couldn't bear to continue looking at it, and decided He had to purify the land.
Thus, he created the Divine Army, and gave them the mission of destroying everything on a single night. For this, He created many demons to make up His forces, called [Jakuri].
With these demons made from the earth, the Divine Army was almost invincible. Then, Listea led His troops to this land, and attacked.
However, there was also one among the Gods who didn't approve of these actions. This was Sashanomiya. She was on the side of the humans, and had helped the people many times with her great wisdom. However, before the great number of Jakuri troops, Sashanomiya's knowledge was no match.
Despite this, She didn't give up, and pressed her wisdom to think up a plan. Then, she arrived at a conclusion. She told the people that She wanted them to leave the city and climb up the mountains.
They protested that if they left the city, they would be completely crushed by the power of the Jakuris. However, Sashanomiya incited them by telling them that She needed their power and courage.
So reluctantly, they left the city, at Sashanomiya's side. As they climbed through the mountains, they were attacked by the Jakuris, and this caused a great number of casualties.
Despite being completely exhausted they remembered Sashanomiya's words, that She needed their power. Once they climbed the mountain to its summit, they found there was a Dam there.
Then, Sashanomiya asked them to use their power to break down the Dam. This caused great dismay to the people of the town, but still, they believed in Her, and combining their strength, they destroyed the dam.
Immediately, the water of the dam turned into a muddy stream that completely swallowed up the town. This felt like the end of the world to the people, but when they looked more closely, they noticed that not even one of the Jakuris remained anymore, and had melted under their foot.
Since the Jakuri is a demon made from earth, it becomes mud when it gets in contact with the water. And thus it was that the Jakuri army was completely returned to the mud in a single night.

afezeria HARVESTASYA アフェゼリア・ハーヴェスタシャー それは山里の、小さな村での物語。
This is a story that happened in an small village nested between the mountains.
生い茂る緑はこの地方の豊かさを象徴し、よく晴れ日和は、今日というめでたき日の現れであろ う。その日、草原に佇む小さな神殿は、村人で賑わっていた。 この小さな村の村人、ほぼ全員がここに集っているといってもいい。 そんな事は、この村に住んで一生に一度有るか無いかである。 そう、今日は婚礼の祝宴。 この神殿を守る者である、巫女のハーヴェスターシャと、この村の長の息子、ミュウが、一生涯の 愛を誓い合う日なのだ。 ミュウには隣町の良家の娘であるサルパトーという許嫁がいたが、ハーヴェスターシャに対する想 いが打ち勝ち、それを蹴り彼女と結ばれる事を選んだ。 そして今日、その第一歩ともいうべき日が訪れたのである。
The overgrown plants symbolized the abundance of this region, and on such a clear day like this, an admirable sun rose. On that day, the small temple that stood over the grasslands was flock full of people.
Practically speaking, all of the inhabitants of the village had gathered in this place.
This was because of something that everyone who was born and raised in this village had gone through at least once.
Yes, that day, they were having a wedding feast.
This was the day in which the protector of this temple: the priestess Harvestasya, and Myu, the son of the village's chief, were going to exchange their lifelong vows.
Myu was engaged to the daughter of a rich family from a nearby town, Salpato, but his feelings for Harvestasya won over, and thus, he chose to marry with the priestess.
And thus, that day, in which they would take the first step towards their life together, came.
村長の息子と巫女という歴史的な祝宴に、村人も皆心躍らずにはいられなかった。
In this historical banquet, in which the son of the village chief and a priestess married, there was no villager whose heart didn't have any excitement within itself.

これほどまでに華々しく神々しい祝祭は今までにあったであろうか！ ミュウの病とハーヴェスターシャの果敢なる「謳う丘」への旅路を知る村人は、その劇的なまでの 美譚も相まって、誰もが祝わずにはいられなかったのである。 式は幕を開け、村人が見守る中、村長の息子ミュウが神殿下手より壇上に現れた。 そして上手に向かい力強く、しかし想いを込めて呼びかける。 「hyear! Was yea ra presia pitod enerel mea?」 （ねえ！僕とずっと共にいてくれるのは誰も？） それに応えるように、上手より声が聞こえる。 「Mea! Was paks ra firle wael, forgandal pak yehah eterne pitod yor.」 （私よ！貴方とこれからずっと一緒にいられることをとても嬉しく思っています。ぽっ） その声に続いて現れたのは、自らの身体の3倍はあろうかと思われるほどに長い丈のドレスを着て、 素朴ながらも格式高いティアラとネックレスを身に纏ったハーヴェスターシャだった。 二人は拍手喝采の中、中央に歩み寄る。 この式の為に隣町より招いた、白装束の巫女によって祝福を受けるのだ。 巫女はそつなくと儀式を行い、二人は数多の神への誓いと共に、少しずつ結ばれてゆく。 そして最後の誓いである堕天后の祝福の時となった。 愛の女神に対し「口づけ」を披露することで、二人の愛を認めさせるものだ。 だがその時、それは起こった。ほんのわずかな時間だった。 巫女はハーヴェスターシャを突き飛ばし、彼女は床へと倒された。
There had never been such a magnificent and sublime banquet before! The villagers all knew about Myu's mysterious illness, and the resolute journey that Harvestasya made to the [Singing Hill], being dramatic enough to become a legend, and there wasn't anyone who didn't congratulate them. The curtains to the ceremony then opened, and under the watchful eyes of the villagers, Myu appeared above the altar from the left.
Then, he turned with force to the right, but called with a voice filled with feelings: "hyear! Was yea ra presia pitod enerel mea?"
(Hey! Who is the one who will be beside me forever?)
Then, as if it was to answer to that, a voice was heard from the right: "Mea! Was paks ra firle wael, forgandal pak yehah eterne pitod yor."
(Me! I'm a little nervous, but I feel really happy about us being together from now on, and forever.)
And appearing after this was said, there was Harvestasya, wearing a long dress that seemed to be three times the size of her body, and while being very simple, she also was wearing a necklace and a tiara like the wedding formalities of the time stated.
And under an applause, they both stepped upon the center of the altar.
For this ceremony, they summoned a white-clothed priestess from a neighboring town, who would given them the blessings.
The priestess flawlessly performed the ceremony, uniting them both a little more each time they made their vows to the many Deities.
And thus, came the time for the final vow: the one for the blessing of Goddess Datenkou.
When they [kissed] in front of the Goddess Love, their love would be recognized.
However, at that time, that happened, in an extremely small instant. The priestess tackled Harvestasya, and fell to the floor together with her.

そして同時にミュウを抱え、軽やかに神殿の柱の上へと飛んだのである。
And the same time, she captured Myu, and easily flew to the top of the temple's pillars.
おびただしい数の黒い羽根が辺りを舞い、瞬間空を暗くした。 ハーヴェスターシャは起き上がり、その巫女であった黒翼の存在に対して叫んだ。 「ミュウを返して！！」 ミュウは何かの力で眠らされていく、ぴくりとも動かない。 白装束の巫女は静かに口を開き、しかしよく聞こえる声でハーヴェスターシャに囁いた。 「よく聞いて、泥棒猫ちゃん。貴方は私の法を曲げて彼の心を掴んだわ。 でもそれは本当のに貴方の「愛」なのかしら？ ふふっ...貴方の愛が本物なら、いま一度私からミュウを奪ってみなさい？」 それだけ叫ぶと、大きな黒い翼を羽ばたかせ、ミュウと共に東の空へと消えていった。 騒然とする村人、放心するハーヴェスターシャ。 その夜彼女は母の元で泣きながら話を聞いた。 東の果てに位置するこの村の、更に東には1つの神殿以外何もない。 そこには黒き翼を持つ神の僕たちが集うという。彼女の行き先はそこでしょう。 そしてハーヴェスターシャは決意した。再びミュウを助ける為に旅立つことを。
Then a great number of black wings began dancing near them, and in an instant, they darkened the sky.
Harvestasya immediately got up, and screamed this to the priestess, or better said, the black wing being.
"Give me Myu back!!"
Myu was put to sleep through some kind of power, so he didn't move at all.
The white-clothed priestess then softly opened her mouth, but whispered to Harvestasya with a perfectly audible voice.
"Listen well, little thief kitten. You have bent my ways, and caught his heart. But is that truly your [love] for him? Hmmhmmhmm... If your love is real, then why don't you try stealing Myu once more from me, now?"
After she screamed this, she flew off with her enormous black wings, and disappeared with Myu in the eastern sky.
The villagers were left in confusion, and Harvestasya in a daze.
That night, she cried in her mother's house, as she heard a story.
It said that "at the eastern end of this village, and even farther to the east than that, there is nothing else than a temple, in which we, the Gods of the black wings gather".
She then knew what her destination was. Thus, Harvestasya made up her mind: she would travel to save Myu once more.
蒼き美星輝く刻（朝）、ハーヴェスターシャは旅立った。村人達が皆、心配して見送ってくれた。 東への旅は、一度西の彼方へ向かった彼女にとっても過酷なものであった。
So once the beautiful blue star shone (at the morning), she departed on her journey. All of the villagers bid her farewell, as they worried about the outcome of this adventure.
The journey to the east seemed to her much more harsh than the journey she once made to beyond the west turned out to be.

人無き東には道はなく、そして険しい山と厳しい自然が待ちかまえる。 1日中崖を歩き、夜は暖を取り、時には詩の力で身を守り、旅は続く。 そしてその果てに辿り着いた小さな草原。 その更に端、眼下に雲海たなびく崖に面した所に、目指す神殿は存在した。 神殿の向こうには暗雲が立ちこめていた。 時折唸る足下を震わせる雷鳴と、草原を駆け抜ける風が、彼女の心をより緊張させた。
Without any people, the east didn't have any roads, and was filled with steep mountains and a brutally cold weather.
During one day, she walked through the cliffs under the sunlight, fetched warmth for herself at night, and occasionally protected herself with the power of the Songs, and thus, her journey continued.
And at the end of this, she finally arrived at an small plain. Further in it, there was a ridge, and under the sea of clouds that it had, there was the temple she had sought all this time.
Beyond the temple, there were many dark clouds rising. Sometimes the roaring thunders would make the ground under her tremble, and that, together with the wind that ran through the plain, further strained her heart.
息せき切らしてハーヴェスターシャは神殿へと辿り着く。 その朽ちた神殿の中ではミュウと、一人の若い女性が向かい合っていた。 女性は辿り着いたハーヴェスターシャを見てフフリと笑う。 「ここは堕天后の神殿。この愛の女神の神殿で、今から私と彼は結ばれるの。 よく聞いて、泥棒猫ちゃん。彼は既に私の思うがまま。愛の呪いをかけたもの。 さあ、私とゲームをしましょう。 もし貴方の愛の力が私の呪いに勝るなら、貴方はこの術を簡単に見破れるはずよね」 瞬間、大きな揺れが襲い、神殿が崩れ、そのエンタシスの柱や壁画は宙に舞った。 辺りは草原が風にたなびく平原となり、遠くヴィオラの月が、女性の後ろに輝いている。 女性は黒い羽根を全身に纏う。 そしてこれを四散させると、漆黒の羽根の中に二人のミュウが現れた。 いや、一人は本物であり、もう一人は女性が化けたミュウダ。
With a stop of her breath, Harvestasya arrived at the temple.
And inside of this rotten place, she found Myu, and saw a young woman exchanging glances with him.
Then the woman saw Harvestasya, and began laughing evilly.
"This is the Temple of Datenkou. And now here, in the Temple of the Goddess of Love, he and me will be married. Listen well, little thief kitten. He already acts as I wish, because I've given him the Curse of Love. Come, let's play a little. If the power of your love can actually win against my curse, it should be simple enough for you to see through this technique."
Instantly a great rumble ensued, and the temple collapsed, as its entasis walls and frescos fluttered around in the air.
The nearby plains then became a moor from the wind, and the faraway Viola Moon then shone over the back of the woman.
The bodies of the woman and Myu were completely enveloped by the black wings.
Then, once they dispersed, two Myus appeared from within them. No, one was the true Myu, while the other was just the woman impersonating him.

そして瞬間、二人のミュウはハーヴェスターシャに襲いかかってきた。 まるで移し鏡のように、ミュウは正確無比に左右対称に襲ってくる。 辛うじてかわしたハーヴェスターシャに、一人のミュウは同時に話りかけてきた。 「さあ、私を討ってみなさい？その愛の力で！でも間違えば、ミュウを傷つけることになるわ。 貴方の愛が本物かどうか、私自らが試してあげる！」 ハーヴェスターシャはミュウに叫び、自らの存在を伝える。 が、ミュウは全く反応せずに、黙々とハーヴェスターシャに呪いで攻撃する。 そして遂に、誠か偽りか、どちらかのミュウの放ったかまいたちが彼女の腕をかすめた。 滲む血を見ながらハーヴェスターシャは決意した。 このままではここで命尽き果ててしまう。 お願い、ミュウ...神様......私にどうか力を...... 心を落ち着かせう為、ハーヴェスターシャは無防備に立ち、目を閉じる。 それを巫女は諦めと見たのか、彼に囁かせた。 「ごめんよ、ハーヴェスターシャ。僕はもう、君のミュウじゃない。 君のことはもう、これっぽっちも愛おしくないんだ。 ああ、なんて可愛そうなハーヴェスターシャ。せめて僕の手で、とどめを刺してあげる」 そして二人のミュウは、にっこりと優しい笑みを浮かべた。 その時ハーヴェスターシャは気づいたのだ。 今まで苛烈かつ遠方からの攻撃ばかりで気づかなかった。
Then, both immediately started attacking Harvestasya.
As if their moves were mirrors of each other, they attacked with perfect accuracy and complete symmetry. Harvestasya barely dodged them, and then, one of the Myus said this to her at the same time: "Come, why don't you defeat me with the power of your love!? But if you chose badly, you will only hurt Myu. If your love is true, then please, come and defeat me!"
Harvestasya then screamed at Myu, trying to tell her who she was. However, Myu didn't answer back at her, and silently attacked Harvestasya due to the effects of the curse.
And finally, incapable of distinguishing who was the fake or was the real Myu, she covered her face with her hands from the wind blades that one of them had summoned up.
And as she looked at the blood that oozed from her, Harvestasya took a decision.
At this rate, she was going to be killed.
Please, Myu... Deities... please, give me power...
To calm her heart, Harvestasya stood up defenseless, and closed her eyes.
Interpreting this as the resignation of the Priestess, then one of the Myuus whispered to her:
"Sorry, Harvestasya. I'm not your Myu anymore. I don't love you in the slightest anymore. Yes, you're still somewhat cute, Harvestasya. At least, I'll finish you off with my own hands, by piercing your heart".
Then both Myus, both with an smile between a grin and a gentle smile, flew to her.
At that moment, Harvestasya noticed it. Something she didn't see due to the long distance from which she was being attacked.

にっこりと笑みを浮かべるミュウ、片方に違和感を感じたのである。 それは彼が彼女に対してのみ向ける笑顔、その笑顔を向けるとき彼は必ず、わずかに右に首を傾け るのだ...。 ハーヴェスターシャは全力で左に首を傾けたミュウに向かって駆けだし、 一瞬のためらいの後に決意をし、その手に持っていた勺を振り下ろした。 そして、もう片方のミュウの元へ向かい、抱き寄せたのだ。 瞬間、ミュウはぐったりとハーヴェスターシャにもたれかかり、遠くから黒い羽根が飛散した。 ハーヴェスターシャは巫女の呪いを見破ったのである。
From one of the Myus that flew toward her, both of which had a smile on their faces, Harvestasya felt something strange.
That was the smile that Myu only gave to her, and when he gave this smile, he always would tilt his neck to the right...
Then Harvestasya ran with all her strength to the Myu that tilted the neck to the left. After hesitating for an instant, she decided and hit him with the ladle she had in her hands.
Then, she ran to the side of the other Myu, and embraced him.
Instantly, Myu was completely exhausted and had Harvestasya at his side, while the black wings dispersed at the distance.
Harvestasya had managed to see beyond the curse of the priestess.
巫女は既に元の姿に戻っていた。そして怒りを露わにして向かってくる。 「おのれ！泥棒猫の分際で、私の呪いを破るなど...もう許せぬ！ 私、愛を司る神堕天后からその男を奪った事を、思い知るがいい！！」 もの凄い嫉妬の波動が、ハーヴェスターシャを圧倒する。 ハーヴェスターシャは祈った。 愛するミュウの為にも、そしてこれからの自分たちの人生の為にも...。
The priestess had already returned to her true form. And she was now overcome by rage, and turned to them: "You bitch! That something like a thief cat had managed to break my curse... it's something unforgivable! Realize now that you have stolen that man from me, Datenkou, the Goddess who rules over love!!"
Harvestasya was immediately overwhelmed from the incredible waves of jealousy that She emanated.
Then, she prayed.
For the sake of her beloved Myu, and for the sake of the life they would have together from now on...
「お願い...我が母なる神、零獅姫よ！！ ...私の願い、どうか受け取って！！ 愛するミュウを...私達をお守り下さい！」
"Please... oh, my motherly Goddess, Reishiki!!
...Please, accept my wish!!
Please... protect my beloved Myu... protect us!"

Lere!!」 （レーレよ！私を貴方の加護でお包みください！！） すると天から眩く白い光が降り注ぎ、ハーヴェスターシャの周りに白き翼が舞い散る。 光によって夜空は神々しいまでに光り輝き、その中から12枚の白翼を纏ったハーヴェスターシャが 現れたのだ。 ハーヴェスターシャはミュウを抱えて空へ舞うとその光の束を収束させ、黒き翼の神、堕天后へと それをぶつけた。 堕天后は悲鳴をあげながら消え、黒き翼は飛散し、風によってちりぢりに飛ばされていった。 東の神殿に静寂が訪れる。ハーヴェスターシャはミュウを抱き、ただ涙を浮かべていた。

Immediately, a dazzling white light descended from the heavens, and many white wings dispersed in the air around Harvestasya.
With the light, the night sky shone until it became even brighter than the sun, and from it, Harvestasya appeared, now carrying twelve white wings on her back.
Harvestasya soared to the skies while holding Myu in her arms, and controlling these bundles of light, she used them to attack the Goddess of the black wings, Datenkou.
Datenkou shrieked as she disappeared, her black wings dispersed in the air, and where sent flying away to the distance by the wind.
Silence then came upon the eastern temple. Harvestasya embraced Myu, and flew off as she merely cried over his face.
村では皆が、ハーヴェスターシャとミュウの生還を願い、神殿で祈っていた。 だれかが白い翼が舞い降りたことに気づいた。 ふと顔を上げると、神殿の壇上に一柱の神が降り立っているではないか。 あまりの事に大声で叫ぶと、皆それに気づき、辺りは大変な騒ぎとなった。 だが、また他のだれかが、その姿をハーヴェスターシャとミュウである事に気づき、皆に伝えた。 ハーヴェスターシャが壇上に降り立つと、翼は光を失い、そして地面へと崩れ去った。 その白き羽根は穏やかな風に舞い、村の神殿を軽やかに舞う。 人の姿へと戻っていたハーヴェスターシャは、ミュウをしっかり抱きしめていた。 そしてミュウも、ハーヴェスターシャをしっかりと抱きしめていた。
In the village, everyone was still at the temple, praying for Harvestasya and Myu's safe return.
Then, someone noticed that there were white wings descending above them.
Suddenly, they raised their heads, and wondered if one of the Deities from their pantheon hadn't descended above the altar of the temple.
It was such a happening that they screamed very loudly, and once everyone noticed, there was a large commotion in the area.
However, someone else noticed the figures of Harvestasya and Myu in there, and told it to everyone.
Harvestasya then descended from the altar, her wings lost their light, and then crumbled away to the ground. Its white feathers then calmly danced in the wind, and lightly floated about within the temple.
Once she returned to her human form, Harvestasya embraced Myu more strongly.
And Myu, also embraced Harvestasya very strongly.

二人は何も言わずにお互いを見つめ合い、そして唇と唇を寄せた。 「例え愛の女神が微笑みまなくても、私はミュウを愛してる。 例え愛の女神 に引き裂かれようとも、僕はハーヴェスターシャを離さない」 二人はそう囁いて、熱い口づけをかわした。 長い長い口づけをかわす二人を、村人達は大喝釆で祝福した。 白い羽根は、澄んだ空に、高く高く舞い上がっていった。
Both looked at each other without saying anything, and then their lips came closer.
"Even if the Goddess of Love doesn't smile at me, I love Myu. Even if the Goddess of Love kills me for this, I'll never leave Harvestasya".
Both whispered this, and then, exchanged a passionate kiss.
And while they exchanged this long, long kiss, everyone in the village gave them a great applause, and gave them their blessing. The white feathers then floated higher, and higher to the clear skies.

ミュウの許嫁であったサラパトーは、愛の女神サラパトゥールがミュウに一目惚れして降りてきた 姿であったという。 サラパトゥールは自らの力を使い、ミュウの心がサるパトーに奪われるように仕向け、自らのもの にしようとしたが、ハーヴェスターシャはそれを上回る愛の力で彼の心を奪ってしまったのだ。 嫉妬深い女神は彼女から再びミュウを奪おうとした。 だが、ハーヴェスターシャの愛の力に共感した女神レーレの協力によって、彼女はそれを退け、再 びミュウを救い出すことに成功したのだ。
Myu's fiancee Salpato was actually the shape that the Goddess of Love, Salapator, took to descends to the human realm when she fell in love with Myu at first sight.
Salapator used her own powers so that Myu's heart would be stolen by Salpato the first time they met, and he would do anything She asked, but then, Harvestasya stole his heart with the power of a love that surpassed that by far.
Then the extremely jealous Goddess made the plan to steal Myu's heart once again.
However, thanks to the help of Goddess Lere, who sympathized with the power of Harvestasya's love, she could drive away Salapator, and successfully saved Myu once again.

Motives of the Story
「想いは全てに勝る」といった神話の多いソル・シエール地方の中でも、特に派手と言われる物語である。 歴史学的には現在する神話の中でもかなり後期に創られたものであると言われており、何らかの理由かもしくは風土が起因 して、想い至上主義を飛躍させる為に作られた神話であると言われている。それ故に神話自体も狂ったように「愛は世界を救 う」話に特化している、とのことだ。ソル・シエールの神話とソル・クラスタの神話はこのように面白いほどに対照的な形態 をとっており、世界が1つとなった第一紀終焉の頃には、文学者や歴史学者は風土や気質を説明する際に度々これらの神話を 取り上げては説明していた。神は絶対的な存在として見るソル・クラスタからみれば、神殺しと言わんばかりのこの物語は下 手をすれば戦争をけしかけるレベルである。情報が断絶していた古代だったから良かったようなものだ。尚、今作でサラパト ー（サラパトゥール）がヒール役として登場しているが、彼女の登場する全ての話がこうではないことを補足しておく。
Among the many myths passed down in the region of Sol Ciel with the theme of [Feelings Triumph over Everything], it's said that this one is the most flashy of them.
Historically, it's said that it was created much later than the other myths, and for some reason, or because of some natural phenomenon, it's said that the myths were created mostly to be stories under the principle of feelings having total supremacy over everything.
Because of that, even in this myth itself we can see how enthusiastic and specialized it was in being a story in which [love saves the world]. The main interest in the myths of Sol Ciel and Sol Cluster come from the fact in which they contrast so much with each other, that during the final years of the First Era, when the world finally unified, the historians and literary scholars frequently brought them up to explain the natural features and disposition of each region and its inhabitants.
If we see it from the viewpoint of Sol Cluster, in which the Gods are seen as absolute beings, it should be easy to see how mistaking this myth as something like a god assassination, and handling poorly the reactions to this could end up sparking such a long conflict between both regions.
Maybe it was a good thing after all that this information disappeared during the ancient times.
By the way, while Salpato (Salapator) appears in this story as the villain, she didn't behave in that way in all of the stories in which she appeared. For an example of this, make sure to read a sample of the other myths in the next page.

近年では世界を崩壊させた戦犯として扱われているソル・シエールだが、音科学が確立する前は、とても素朴でおおらかな 気質の人々が住む地域であった。彼らは詩の力を誰よりも大切にし、愛し、そして毎日踊り謳っていたのである。全てを物理 解釈していたソル・クラスタが世界の文明を牽引するようになるのは必然であり、その間もソル・シエールの民は、只ひたす ら祈り謳っていた。病気の回復も、豊作も、全て歌によって成されると信じていたからである。当然、恋愛など想いの産物で ある行為を美徳としており、このような「愛は正義」といった神話はソル・シエールでは昔から一般的なものであった。 ソル・シエール地方は、温暖でかつ、肥沃で平坦な大地の恵みを目一杯受けていた為、他の地域と比べてのんびりとした気 質、良くも悪くも「坊っちゃん的気質」が根付いた地土である。一生懸命働かなくても生きていけるといったゆとり感が、こ ういった神話からもうかがい知る事が出来る。それが思い上がりとなって、大惨事直前の時期に、世界的に問題視されるよう な計画を幾つも実行してしまったのかもしれない。
While in recent years Sol Ciel was treated as the war criminal that caused the destruction of the world, before the establishment of Sound Science, it was a region where people of a naive and magnanimous disposition lived.
They treasured, loved, and every day danced and sung praises to the power of the Songs more than anyone. The fact that they ended up explaining everything through physics was an inevitable consequence of being pulled into Sol Cluster's culture, but even during that time, the Sol Cielans still just kept praying and singing.
To cure diseases, and to have an abundant harvest... they believed that all of this could be done through songs. Naturally, they valued the acts born out from love and similar feelings as virtues, so myths that told about [love being justice], like this one, were pretty typical in Sol Ciel a long time ago.
Sol Ciel has pretty warm weather, and thanks to having very fertile soil, it ended up being a flat land brimming with the blessings of nature.
Because of this, the people have a more carefree nature in comparison to the inhabitants of other regions, and for good or worse, their [naive nature] is rooted in this land itself.
While it has a very calm feel, since everyone could live comfortably even if they didn't work very hard, you should be able to know better from myths like this. Because of this, they gradually became conceited, and in the period that directly preceded the great catastrophe, the plans and projects they conducted might actually have come from them feeling as if they were a problem to the rest of the world.

かなり早い時期から、世界の半分くらいの地域とは交流があったようだ。ソル・シエールは平坦な大地が多く、それ故に文 明の利器が発達していなかった昔であっても、簡単に遠くまで行けたのである。海を渡った場所にあるソル・クラスタとの交流 は後期になってからだが、交流が始まってからの文明開化の場合は目を見張るものがあった。実際、音科学の父が唄石の力を 発見したのも、ソル・クラスタから持ち込まれたオルゴールを始めとする小型機械と精錬の技術があってこそである。
Since very long ago, the level of contact that Sol Ciel had covered around half of the globe.
Because of its vast extensions of flat land, its civilization didn't need to progress much, although a long time ago its people could easily have gone much farther than what they did.
It might have been because their relationships with Sol Cluster, which was at the other side of the sea, started during a later period of its history, but from the start they were as amazed as the Japanese were by the Westerners during the Meiji Era.
Actually, even the discovery of the power of the Songstones by the Father of Sound Science comes from the fact that Sol Cluster brought to Sol Ciel the small machines and smelting techniques that allowed them to begin making orgels.

ソル・シエールの神話には、のんびりとした気質がよく出ている神話が多い。今回紹介する二編もま た、この地の肥沃さや穏やかさを体現した、この地ならではの神話である。
So Ciel has many myths in which their carefree disposition can be easily seen. Even in the two stories we will be presenting here that is visible, since they are myths that embody the fertility and warmth that this land has.
[The Protectors of the Skies] Soutentei, Sakiyarumei (Saki)
「空の守り神」 蒼天帝（そうてんてい）、咲夜琉命（さきやるめい＝サキ）
[The Protectors of the Skies] Soutentei, Sakiyarumei (Saki)
ある日サキが空を見ていると、蒼天帝が一人で悩んでいるようだった。心配になり事情を聞いてみ ると、何でも空の守り神が欲しいとのことだ。この広い空は、私一人では見切れない。だから、私の 代わりの目になる者が欲しい...と。 サキは蒼天帝を兄のように暮っていたので、何とか力になりたいと思い、知恵を絞った。 そして遂に名案を思いつたのである。早速海へ向かい、魚を連れて空に向かうサキ。魚に羽根を 生みやして飛ばしました。海が空になっただけだから、魚は優雅に泳いでいる。が、しばらくすると鱗 が乾いて海に飛び込んで戻ってしまった。海の生物は駄目だと判断し、次にサルに翼を付けてみた。 サルは賢く空を見回っていたが、他の空飛ぶサルを見つけるとケンカをして次々撃墜してしまう。結 局羽根の付いたサルも最後にはいなくなってしまった。蒼天帝は無理しなくて良いとサキを案じたが、 サキは最後まで頑張ると言い、更に100年間考え続けた。そしてついに、トラに翼を付けて、タカ という空飛ぶ動物を生み出したのだ。ところがタカはとても凶暴で、空から地土の獲物を喰い漁る。 サキは更に作り直そうとしたが、蒼天帝はさすがにもう疲れ切っていて、このタカを貰うことにした。 そしてレーレ神に頼み込んで、ツバメなどの守護者を新たに作ってもらったのである。
On a certain day, Saki was looked up at the sky, and saw Soutentei, all alone and worried. She decided to try listening why he was so worried, and he told her that it was because he wanted protectors for his skies more than anything. He didn't want to be all alone up there. So, he wanted someone to that could... take his place.
Saki lived with Soutentei as her younger sister for a time, so she thought about what she could for him, and squeezed out all of the wisdom she possessed.
So finally, she came up with an idea. Saki quickly headed to the sea, and saw how to fishes looked up to the skies. So she gave them wings, and they began flying. The sea simply became the skies to them, and the fishes elegantly swam in it.
However, after a while, their scales dried up, and they ended flying back to the sea. She concluded that the sea animals weren't good for this, and next tried giving wings to the monkeys.
The monkeys were intelligent, and patrolled the skies, but when they encountered other flying monkeys, they would begin fighting, and make each other fall down back to the earth. And in the end, all of the winged monkeys ended being left as wingless. Soutentei thought this would be useless and told the anxious Saki that this was good enough, but Saki told him that she wanted to continued this to the end, and continued thinking during other 100 years.
Finally, she gave wings to the tigers, which gave life to the flying animals we know as falcons.
However, since the falcons were extremely ferocious, they flew down from the skies to fish out their preys from the earth.
Saki wanted to remake them once more, but Soutentei was already tired of this, and accepted the falcons.
And finally, earnestly asking Goddess Lere for her help in this, he newly created his guardians, which were the swallows and other similar creatures.

「三国の王妃」 堕天后 （だてんこう＝サラパトゥール）
[The Queen of the Three Kingdoms] Datenkou (Salapator)
とある国の王妃が后となる女性を探していた。その国はとても裕福で、それ故に隣国は皆、自らの 国の姫を嫁がせたがっていた。そしてその后にすべく、ヴァルナ、シルヴァ、ブラストの三国は自国 の姫を推した。だが、后になれるのは一人だけ。姫もまた必死だった。自らが后となれるよう、愛の 女神サラパトゥールに祈ったのである。 サラパトゥールは困り果てた。三人の姫が同時に一人の王子と結ばれるように祈願したのだ。いくら 神だって全員の願いを叶えられるわけがない。そこで三人の姫にこう告げたのである。もっとも王子 への愛が大きい姫を結びましょう、と。三人の姫は、自分が絶対に一番だと信じて止まなかった。ヴ ァルナ国の姫は、国一番の宝石細工師に、最高級のペアリングを作らせた。そして国一番の裁縫師に 極上のドレスを作らせた。ブラスト国の姫は、風光明媚な自国の一等地に、究極な迄の御殿を造らせた。 もちろん、王子と姫の別荘としてである。だが、ヴァルナ国の姫は困っていた。何せシルヴァ国には さしたる資源もなく、自国体も小さく貧乏だったのだ。極上の宝飾を細工する者もいなければ、光風 明媚な場所もない。そもそも王室にほとんどお金がない。姫は悩んだ挙げ句、意を決して髪を切った。 そしてそのお金で王子の為にとても頑丈な鎧と盾を買った。姫選びの日、一同に会した姫達はシルヴ ァ国の姫を見て笑った。姫はショートカットの町娘のようだったからだ。だが王子は、シルヴァ国の 姫の手を取った。自らの身体を犠牲にしてまでも、王子の身体を気遣うその想いに心打たれたのであ る。
In a certain kingdom, the Queen desired to find a woman to marry her son.
And since this kingdom was so prosperous, all of the neighboring kingdoms offered their princesses to be married to the Prince. So each one of these three kingdoms: Valna, Sylva, and Blast, supported their own princesses to become the new queen. However, only one of them could become the queen.
This made the princesses fall into despair, and to become the new queen, each one of them prayed to Salapator, the Goddess of Love, for her help.
Salapator was greatly perplexed, because three princesses were praying to marry with the same prince at the same time. Although She was a Goddess, this doesn't mean that She could grant the wishes of everyone. So then, She announced the following to the princesses: "The princess whose love is the greatest shall become the prince's bride".
The three princesses didn't stop believing that each of them was the absolute best one.
The Princess of Valna asked the best jeweler in the kingdom to make the best pair of rings he could make, and also asked the best tailor in the kingdom to make her the best dress possible.
The Princess of Blast, on other hand, ordered the building of the ultimate palace in the most beautiful district of her kingdom, of course, as a villa for her and the prince.
But the Princess of Sylva was troubled. This was because the Kingdom of Sylva was very small and devoid of natural resources, and also, very poor. It didn't have anyone who could make the best ornaments or jewelry, neither did it have any places with any spectacular views.
And finally, the royal family's chests were empty. So after many worries, the Princess arrived at a decision, and cut off her hair to show it.
And thus, with the little money she had, she bought extremely sturdy shields and armors for the Prince. And on the day in which they would be chosen, the other princesses looked at the Princess of Sylva, and laughed at her.
It was because of her looking like a street girl from her haircut. However, the Prince took the hand of the Princess of Sylva. Her feelings of wanting to protect him much more than herself had deeply moved him.

Creation of the Land
後に神と言われることになる「惑星の意志」とは、 本作の舞台である惑星アルシエルを構成する魂の集 合体のことです。 宇宙にソル（太陽）が出来、そのソルの意志に。ソルとアルシ エルは、アルシエルと人間の関係と同じなのです。 そしてアルシエルは生命を生みました。惑星の意 志が生命を創るか創らないかは、その惑星の意志達 の想いの強さ、魂のレベルによります。「自らの学 びの為の最も過酷な試練」と言われる生命の創造と 育成。それを選択したアルシエルの意志は、とても 優秀かつ勇気のある意志達の集まりなのです。 左の絵画は、神々を讃え描いた「大地創成」です。 神々によって祝福される大地と、万物、全ての生命 は等しく敬われ、等しく光を受け取っている様を描 いています。 そしてそれらの生命に見守られながら、一片、ま た一片と、大地が組み合わさり、一つの惑星になっ ていく姿を表現しています。
The [Wills of the Planet], who were later on known as Gods, were the soul aggregations that structured and created the Planet Ar Ciel, which the series uses as its setting.
The one who created Sol (the Sun) upon this universe, was the Will of Sol itself. Sol and Ar Ciel have pretty much the same relationship that Ar Ciel has with the humans.
Then, Ar Ciel gave birth to life. The fact that a Planet ends creating life or not depends entirely on if the strength of the feelings possessed by its Wills surpasses the level necessary for the creation of souls, especially because the creation and nurturing of life is called the [harshest of the tests of self-learning] that planets undergo.
This was the decision that the Wills of Ar Ciel took, and they had to gather all of their courage and power to do so.
The picture you can see at the left (the same one as the cover of this CD] is called [Creation of the Land], and was made to praise the Gods. The land blessed by the Gods, all creation, all of the life worshiping Them equally, and all of them equally receiving Their light... that is what this picture depicts.
And it also represents how, under the watchful gazes of all these lives; the land; piece by piece, and part by part, unites together to become a single planet.

宇宙に塵が集まっていく、想いが集結し ていく... それは光と熱を持ち、ひとつの命になる。 ああ...どうか育む命が幸せになりますよ うに、いつまでも共に過ごせますように... 星は固まり、大地となった。 そしてその時、星は決意した。想いを持 ち、自ら想い、暮らす命を作ろうと。 大いなる宇宙の果てに、一つの想いが収 束する。遙か昔には今の人々と同じ魂だっ たそれは、今度は自らの子として人々を生 み落とす。 それは自らの後を継ぎ、この"生命の住 処"を共にレベルアップする仲間となるよ うに、人々の母である星の意志は、大事に 大事に人々を産み落とすのだ。 さあ、始めよう。新たな世界を創る為に。 マグマに含まれた水分は水蒸気となり雲 を生み、冷えた水によって大地を作る。 したたりおちる水は貯まり、原初の海と なりて、小さな始まりの命が誕生する。 皆謳え踊れや！
In the void of the space, the dust gathered, as feelings assembled in masse...
With the light and warmth they possessed, they became a single life.
Ah... please, raise lives so they can become happy, and live together with them forever...
The Planet formed a mass, and became land. Thus, at that, time, the Planet decided it. That It would create life that possessed feelings, its own feelings.
At the end of the vast universe, a single mass of feelings converged. These souls that existed so long ago were the same as the ones the current humans possess, and the Planet gave to them life, as Its own children.
This was what It passed down to them, so that the humans stopped looking at it as "a place of residence", and began looking at the Planet as a friend to get along with, as a Mother, like the feelings brimming with love that the Wills of the Planet used to create them.
Come, let us begin. To create a new world.
The moisture that was contained within the magma became the water vapor that created the clouds, and the magma, cooled by the water, created the land.
The incessant raining accumulated on the land, becoming the sea of origin, in which the first, small lives were born.
Now everyone, sing and dance!

原作中に、そしてこの神話に登場する神々＝惑 星の意志は、全て同じ時期に生まれたわけではあ りません。原初の意志と言われる惑星を構築した 意志達、そしてその後に必要に応じて生まれ、消 えていった意志達が沢山存在します。
Neither in the game nor in the myths printed in this book we meant that the Gods/Wills of the Planet that appear in them were all born in the same period, let alone at the same time. The Wills that structured the Planet Ar Ciel receive the name of Wills of Origin, and after them, there were many other Wills that were born and erased according to the needs the Planet had.
原初の意志とは、「ユークリッダ」「クリューエ」 「ホルス」の三柱です。ユークリッダは太陽神、 クリューエは惑星の意志ハブ的存在、ホルスは 大地の神です。そして、この三柱の神から様々な 神が派生して生まれていきます。ユークリッダか らは蒼天帝、ソーマなど、クリューエからは紅禰 命、珠洲ノ宮など、そしてホルスからは零獅姫（レ ーレ）、咲夜琉命（サキ）、沙羅世命（シャラノワ ール）などです。3つのカテゴリはそれぞれ「天」 「魂」「地」であり、日本的な表現をすれば「外務 省（アルシエル対外バランス）」「皇室（魂のバラ ンス）」「内務省（アルシエル構造バランス）」と いったところでしょうか。そしてその3つのカテ ゴリの中に存在する相手数の意志は「力」「智徳」 「愛」「想い」の4つのカテゴリに分類され、更に その中で「モディファイア」と「メンテナンサー」 に分類されていきます。
Said Wills of Origin are three in total: [Juklizda], [Clyuue], and [Horus].
Juklizda is the Sun God, Clyuue is an existence similar to a hub for the Wills of the Planet and Horus is the Land God. Thus, from these three Gods, many other Gods were born as derivations of them.
Gods like Soutentei and Some cama from Juklizda, while others like Koudeinomikoto and Suzunomiya came from Clyuue; and finally, Gods like Reishiki (Lere), Sakiyarumei (Saki) and Saranoyomei (Shelanoir) came from Horus.
The respective categories for the three Wills of Origin were [Heavens], [Souls] and [Land], which in a typically Japanese way would be represented as the [Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Balance with Ar Ciel's exterior)], the [Imperial Household (Balance of the Souls)], and the [Ministry of Home Affairs (Balance of Ar Ciel's structure)].
Thus, within these three categories, the many new Wills were subdivided into four more: the categories of [Powers (Power)], [Wisdomes (Knowledge)], [Charities (Love)], and [Hymmers (Feelings)]; and after them, they were subdivided even further into [Modifiers] and [Maintenancers].
では、どの意志がいつ頃に生まれてきたのでし ょうか。最も簡単な分類としては、星巡りに出て くる十二神は全て「原初の刻」と呼ばれる時期に 生まれています。とは言っても、この「原初の刻」 だけでも三億年近くの幅があると言われています から、全ての意志が同時に生まれたわけでもあり ません。星巡り十二神に含まれない神、例えばフ ィラメントやユリシカなどは、その後の「満月の 刻」等に誕生しています。さて、重要な原初の三 神のうち「ホルス」だけが星巡十二神に登場しま せん。これは当然「原初の刻」に生まれていない ったというわけではなく、誕生から現在に至るま で、一度も人々の前に姿を現していない為です。
Also, you might be wondering at which point each one of the Wills was born.
The easiest way categorize them would be by saying that all of the Twelve Gods that appear in Starcircling were born in the period known as the [Era of Origin].
But despite this, the [Era of Origin] alone encompasses a period of time of almost 300 millions of years, so we cannot strictly say that all of the Wills were born at the same time or era. As for the Gods that aren't included in the Twelve Gods of Starcircling, like Filament or Yurishica, that is because they, like some other Wills, were born in a later period, known as the [Era of the Full Moon].
Well then, by now you should have noticed that among the most important Wills, the Three Gods of Origin, [Horus] is the only one who doesn't appear among the Twelve Gods of Starcircling.
This, naturally, wasn't because she wasn't born during the [Era of Origin], but because she, ever since she was born, and until the current times, she never appeared before the humans, not even a single time.
実は第一紀末期の2930年までは、この位 置にいるのはレーレであるというのが定説でし た。ですが2930年、あるソル・シエールの 学者がサキ、レーレ、シャラノワールの波動誤差 を計算したところ、原初年号まで到達しないとい う結論に達しました。すなわち、その大元となる 神が存在しなければ矛盾が生じたわけです。それ によって、仮説としての神「ホルス」が定義され ました。実際にこのホルスという意志は存在し、 アルシエルを根底から支えています。そう、アル トネリコ3をプレイした方はご存知のシエラと呼 ばれていた存在一惑星意志の集合体のコアにいた のがホルスだったです。そしてホルスは、サキ達 の生みの親でもありますが、同時にアル・ルゥの 生みの親でもあります。
Actually, she didn't until the latter years of the First Era, at 2930 AD, at which point there was an established theory about Lere being the Will who held her position.
However, during 2930 AD, a certain scholar in Sol Ciel made a mistake in his calculations about the wavelengths for Saki, Lere and Shelanoir, and arrived at a conclusion that none of them could have existed in the years when the Planet started to be created.
In short, unless some greater primordial God than these three Wills existed, it would produce a great inconsistency with all of the other research done so far.
And in this way, it was that the hypothetical God [Horus] was defined. In a practical sense, this Will called Horus existed and supported Ar Ciel's existence from its very basis.
Yes, as the ones who played through Ar tonelico 3 should know by now, the being called Ciela was a fusion of the Wills of the Planet, and one of the Wills that formed part of its core was actually Horus. And while Horus is the creator of Saki and the other Land Wills, at the same time she also is the creator of Ar Ru.
実際ホルスの余命は3774年現在で、残り 3年程度でした。ホルスが消滅すれば当然その 系列は全滅します。 ホルスが最後まで人類と戦った理由は、この星 の維持の為、すなわち、サキ達大地系惑星の意志 全体の存命の為だったのです。もちろん「シエラ」 の中にはユークリッダ達他の原初の意志も存在し ており、惑星全体の命運を賭けた戦いであったこ とに違いはありません。
In the current times, 3774 AD, Horus has only a max of approximately three years to live. If Horus dies, naturally, all of the Wills of her lineage will be annihilated, as well.
The reason why Horus battled against humanity until the very end was to preserve this Planet. In other words, to keep alive all of the Wills of the Planet that belong her same Land lineage, such as Saki and the others.
Of course, within [Ciela] there were also the other Wills of Origin: Juklizda and Clyuue, so it would be right to think that said battle was one in which the fate of the entire planet was at stake.

In this work, we decided to try completing many objects that could be felt as part of the atmosphere given by the musical notation and musical scores, similarly to how the songs are the the main theme in this vast world setting.
While they are second to the music and stories contained in here, I think that everyone will surely be looking forward to our illustrations.

今回は普段と違うタッチで絵を描く ためにいろいろ実験しながらの作業 でした。 古い壁画のイメージで描いていま す。現実の世界にもいろいろな伝承 がありそれを記した壁画が沢山残っ ています。 アルシエルの世界にもそういった伝 承があり実際に壁画があるとしたら どのようなものになるのか、考えな がら描いてみました。
In this work, I decided to try giving to my pictures a different from usual touch, and made them while experimenting with other forms and styles.
I drew them as images taken from ancient murals. Given that in the real world there are many legends as well, many of their images from the murals I saw in photos have remained in my memory.
Given that the world of Ar Ciel has legends similar to ours as well, I wondered how the murals its inhabitants would have drawn if they had existed would be, and while thinking of that, I drew these pictures.

This time, I was given free reign to draw many things that evoked the theme of a mysterious and deep forest for one of the illustrations of the Singing Hill CD, and while I was feeling somewhat like a burden, I also had a lot of fun while making it.

I have greatly loved listening to Shikata-san's songs since a long time back, so I was greatly overjoyed when I became able of assisting her in this work.
I was somewhat worried about if my drawing would be able to match the greatness of her compositions; but I used her influence, and did my best to be able to express Harvestasya's divinity through it.

I was tasked with the duty of making the illustration for Infelious Rhaplanca.
I'm known as Katou Taira.
The Legends of Rhaplanca and Metafalss... these two worlds are some of the things I've liked the most from this series, and I was extremely nervous when I was given the task of drawing for it.
Although I've brought three kinds of different backgrounds to Ar tonelico, this time I had the work of bringing to life the sceneries of the myths, so for drawing them, I had to make them with a different atmosphere from the ones used in the game, while still retaining my personal touches. Even although it was no more than trivial addition, I was very glad to be able to add it to the Legends of Rhaplanca.

皆さんこんにちは、志方です。この度は今作CDをお手にとって下さり、ありがとうございました！この 「伝承神話をモーチフにしたアルバム」の企画は、実は謳う丘～EXEC_HARVESTASYA/.～制作時からあり ました。当時土屋さんと「ハーヴェスターシャのような神話を沢山詰め込んだ、歴史設定的なイメージア ルバムが出せたらいいですね」と盛り上がっていたのですが、まさにそれが今回実現してしまったんです。 とても嬉しくて、制作期間中もずっとアルシエルに旅立ったまま、夢中で作曲をしていました。 本当に久し振りにアルトネリコやアルトネリコ2の世界観に触れる事が出来、とても懐かしい、そして思 い出深い世界観に再び旅立てたことが、何よりの幸せでした！そしてこのアルトネリコ三部作が一同に会 したミニアルバムが、少しでも皆さんのアルシエル世界への回帰へのお役に立てば嬉しくと思います。
Hello, everyone! I'm Shikata. Thank you very much for having bought this CD! This project of making [an album based on myths and legends] actually came out initially when we were working in Singing Hill ~EXEC_HARVESTASYA/.~.
At the time, I brought with Tsuchiya-san the proposal "of making an historical image album filled with many songs containing myths similarly to Harvestasya", but as you can see, that didn't become a reality until now. It was a very blissful experience, feeling as if we were traveling throughout Ar Ciel during all of the time we worked in this project, and during these daydreams it was that we composed the songs.
It truly was a very nostalgic experience to revisit the world settings of Ar tonelico and Ar tonelico 2 during this, but revisiting the memories of these settings as we traveled again throughout them were the happiest experiences of them all!
And while all of the three parts of Ar tonelico all connected in this mini-album, if it helps you all to return to the world of Ar Ciel, no matter for how short of a time, I will be extremely happy.

こんにちは、土屋です。今回は、この冊子の執筆、構成と謳う丘の歌詞、編曲をやらせていただきました。 志方さんから今回の「神々の神話や伝承をテーマにしたCDを出したい」というお話を伺ったとき、何とい う壮大な企画だろう！と、その企画意図にただ感動しました。私自身も機会があれば古代紀を舞台とした 作品を創りたいと思っていた事もあり、全力で参加させていただいた次第です。 今回のCDでは、アルシエルの代表的な3地域＋テル族文化のシェスティネという形で、4つの地域性に 富んだ楽曲をお楽しみ頂けるようになっています。それぞれの地域でどんなイメージなのかは、雰囲気、 人種気質による曲調から生楽器の種類まで、志方さんと相談しながら制作しています。また、毎度のねちっ こい打ち合わせ（！）で、絵師さんにも雰囲気や表現したいことを伝えさせていただきました。ゲームと 同等の本気で関わらせていただいたこの作品、生のアルシエルを隅々までご堪能頂ければ幸いです。
Hello to everyone. I'm Tsuchiya. This time, I was assigned to be the author of the contents and structure in this booklet; and the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of Singing Hill.
When I was told by Shikata-san that [she wanted to make a CD with themes about myths and legends of the Gods], I immediately thought it was a magnificent project!
Well, I was simply moved by the aim of the project. Personally, I also wanted to make a project set in the Ancient Eras if I had the chance, and upon learning of this, I began to participate in this project with all of my strength.
In this CD, I hope that you all will greatly enjoy the songs filled with the characteristics of the culture and civilization of the four regions, which are the three regions from Ar Ciel that you all know from the games, and the region of Syestine, where the Teru civilization originated.
Shikata-san and myself we discussed a lot about what kind of image each region should evoke, what kind of atmosphere should give, what kind of people it should represent, how they should be composed, to even what kinds of live instruments should be used for their performance.
Also, my stubbornness (?) struck like always, and I had to tell to all of the artists what kind of presentation, atmosphere and such I wanted their illustrations to have.
Given that this is product related to the games, and worked in the same level of importance as them, I will be really glad if this allows you all to completely explore all of the nooks and crannies of the real Ar Ciel.

いつもお世話になっている志方さんからお話しを頂いた時既に美しい世界観が出 来上がっているこの作品に、私などの曲が入って大丈夫なのかと正直悩みました。 でも、美味しい珈琲屋さんで土屋さんに御会いし色々な話しで盛り上がった後には、不安なんてすっかり 消えていました。志方さんと土屋さん。お二方とも私もとても感覚が似ているんです。 このお二方となら、きっと良いものができる！そう思いました。 ソル・クラスタの世界にロマンを馳せながら、妄想をぷくぷくと膨らまし神話の中に身を投じて音楽を作っ ていく感覚はとても充実していて、楽しかったです。今でも目を閉じれば東洋的な風景と威厳のあるナショ ナリズム、そしてシャリークとリーシャの姿が浮かびます。 この曲が素晴らしいアルトネリコの世界にほんの少しでも色を添える事ができれば幸いです。 最後に、この様な素晴らしい機会を与えて下さった志方さんと土屋さんに大変感謝しております。
From the times in which I always received Shikata-san's help to the moment in which I was able of participating in a product of this beautiful world setting, I always worried about if it would be honest for me to intrude into one of her songs.
However, in a delicious coffee shop I had the opportunity of meeting with Tsuchiya-san, and after conversing with him about many topics, all of my anxiety suddenly disappeared. Both Shikata-san and Tsuchiya-san had many feelings that were extremely similar to mine.
If I'm with both of them, it has to turn out well! That was what I thought when this all happened.
I threw myself into the swelling fantasies and romancing gallops of the world of Sol Cluster as I composed the song, and give how complete these feelings felt, it was very fun to do. Even now, if I close my eyes, I can feel the majestic nationalism as the eastward wind blows, and see the faces of Syerek and Liarsha appearing before me.
If this song manages to serve as a accompaniment to the world of Ar tonelico, no matter if it's in a small way, I'll be very happy.
Finally, I want express my deepest gratitude to both Shikata-san and Tsuchiya- san for having given me such a wonderful opportunity as this one.
