Hello everyone. It's Director Tsuchiya again.
It has been around three weeks since the last time I posted something. Wow, how fast time passes... Especially since we began this project the last year, when I thought about making a weekly newsletter for this project.
Well, now we'll talk about the [Setting of the World].
The setting in this game is a world called [Sol Ciel]. Doesn't this world feel a little singular compared to others, given that it's a world without land or sky, where there is only a tower with a floating continent? While the reactions of the people has been very varied, from [This looks like a pretty stupid world] to [Original? It doesn't seem pretty different from the usual things in games], and because of that, it's that this world was changed to its current shape. While the project of creating this game began on 2004, the creation of its world actually goes a little farther back, to 1996. At that time, it was just a tabletop RPG, a game made just from talks and paper, and I made the world specially for it. But no one wanted a TRPG which had an extremely original world... so I changed the world a little from how it was at the time, in which there was still a sea and a sky. And there were also a race called the [People of the Sea]. All of that still continues living right now, and the reason that made me decide to introduce this to all of you, it's because I love a lot this world. The picture you can see posted below is the Bourne Shell (the Nuclear Symphonic Power part) that I drew for [Firefly Alley] eight years ago, and there are in it some notes about its construction and civilization. However, this doesn't have anything to do with the game as we know it now.
