アニメパート設定画
Setting Pictures of the Anime Parts

レプレキアやメタファリカの発動など、印象なシーンで挿入されるアニメーショ
ンムービーたち。ここでは、そういったアニメパート側に
用意されたキャラクターの設定画を掲載。主要キャラクターの三面図のほか、普
段は見る機会のない貴重な色指定も収録した。

For impressive scenes such as the execution of Replekia and Metafalica, 
we ended adding animated movies, and here, we will be publishing the character 
setting drafts we used for the anime parts. And aside of the three main 
characters, we will be publishing the illustrations for the others, which 
haven't been shown before, and we also added the precious palettes for each 
one of them.

Animation Part Director's Voice

音楽の波動によって形作られているというお話を聞いて、オープニン
グゲームではできるだけ映像の中でその世界観を表現させる事が
できる様に、音楽をどうイメージ化させ、可視化させるかが難しい所
でした。本編内のムービーでも音楽に負けないようにというよりも、
音楽にあった映像を作る事を心がけました。また、必殺技や詩魔法の
アニメーションではそれぞれのキャラクターの個性を活かしつつも限られた時間
の中でテンポ感をもたせる事に苦心しました。

I heard about the idea of telling an story through the waves of music, and 
from the opening of the game, I did the best I could to be able to express 
the world setting of the game through the movies, though thinking in which 
ways I would be able to turn the music into images, and visualize them, 
was pretty difficult. This was even more than just trying to make the ingame 
movies compete with the music, so I had to keep in mind the music as I made 
the movies. Also, for the animations of things like the Song Magics and 
the EX-Skills, I had to show the individual movements of each character in 
a very limited time frame, so I had to work very hard to give it a feel 
of a tempo too.

and his main job as a game movie creator is the designing of the characters, 
though he also works as a illustrator supervisor.

And continuing where we left off with the anime setting pictures, here we 
will be publishing the storyboards for the anime movies. We indicated the lighting 
and shadows in them in a very simplistic way, and we also included the camera angles
and the spoken dialogue for each frame. All of these were created thanks to the 
collaboration of Mr. Yukio Takatsu
