The next stage in the evolutionary chain of the Angel enemies, the Black Guards are noticeable improvements on their predecessors not only in stats, but also in skills: Svet Strike hits a party member three times, Dark Storm does the same while additionally inflicting Pain; and finally, they can restore their own HP with Restore. Therefore, it's important to pay attention at least when they are using Dark Storm to block it and avoid getting the Pain status, which would make their other attacks more devastating.
