About SH Server?

It's been a while since I last login to Platina Wikia, but what is the SH Server you are all referring to anyway? I thought it was Silver Horn but things doesn't seem right.

As I already explained over at the discussion page for the Song Servers, a SH Server (short for Static Hymmno Server) is the server where the Cosmospheres of the Reyvateils are stored. So far, there are a total of five SH Servers in existence: Eolia, Frelia, Ar tonelico Beta-6D, Tilia, and Harvestasya Beta-6D. Each Origin has her own personal server, while the Beta-6Ds are partitioned to allow the storage of the Cosmospheres for the Betas and Third Generations. Aquagon 07 17:58, August 31, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, there are. One is that the Origin servers don't support partitioning, unlike Beta-6D. The other reason is because these Servers also support a broader range of frequencies, which the Origins need to use all of their powers (for example, Tilia's server supports the square of the frequencies that Harvestasya's Beta-6D can support). How did Saki get a room in Tilia's SH Server, anyway? How did it affect Saki and Tilia's power? And more importantly, for what reason did they partition Tilia's SH Server for Saki?

She got one because Archia installed a Beta-6D emulation system on Tilia's server. This, however, only makes possible to partition the server in two parts, and it doesn't affect Saki's powers in any way. It was needed so she could display all of her powers as a Gamma Sublimate, since Beta-6D's frequencies can't support all of the Cosmosphere levels she can have. About Mir's Power and the Origins

Just out of curiosity, but is Tilia's song magic any stronger than Eolia's? (did she fall flat on her face for that matter). Also, is there any Reyvateil that is more powerful than Tilia in Sol Cluster?Ar-cen-ciel 12:54, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

Unknown, but most likely, yes, because Tilia is the only Reyvateil (and living being) in Ar Ciel whose singing can reach the frequencies needed to communicate directly with the Planet and its Wills. Aquagon 07 22:20, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, she was created specifically to reach these frequencies, because she was developed as the main part of the Planet Restoration Project. However, despite the great level of power she can handle thanks to that, her execution timing and processing is still slower than Mir's, given that Mir was created to be the ultimate HYMME singing Reyvateil. About Tower Administration

Actually...are the α-Reyvateils and Tower Administrators are one and the same, or are they entirely different terms, I mean, they aren't born as the Administrators right away, do they? Ar-cen-ciel 06:01, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

α-Reyvateils and Origins are pretty exchangeable terms. However, the term Administrator can indeed be applied to all of the currently living ones, since they all were simple Reyvateils until they were connected to (Eolia) or created their Towers (Frelia and Tilia), thus becoming the Administrators for them. 200.8.12.26 03:39, January 22, 2011 (UTC)

Not necessarily. Frelia simply maintains the existence of her Tower, but can't really control it, while Tilia herself is the Tower, and as such, has total control over it. Okay, so can you explain how the Origin's Triangular Nuclear Loop works? What's the "functional limit" mentioned in Wave Theory that grant the Betas their mortality?

There's no explanation on it, since nothing is known about them. And the functional limit refes to the length of their Telomeres. The Telomeres indicate for how long a TNC can continue generating the waves that maintain the bodies of the Betas, similarly to how in our case they indicate how much life our cells will have. Have the necessary I/O connections to allow a complete connection to the Tower, and having an special SH-Server for doing so. In other words, neither Aurica or Saki can become Administrators. As Shurelia once explained in the Toukousphere, the only Reyvateils capable of taking her place as the Administrator for the First Tower would be Frelia and Ar tonelico's Beta-6D. Tilia couldn't since she is the Tower of Harvestasya herself, and neither could Harvestasya's Beta-6D (though this Beta-6D could pretty well become the Administrator of Harvestasya if the need arose, if what the precedents show us can be applied here).

That means, it is a special privelage given only to select few Reyvateils. and right now, it is impossible to deploy any more Tower Administrators, due to the incident of Grathnode Inferia, is that correct? Ar-cen-ciel 00:07, February 1, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I can really say, since in this case, Tilia's body is the Tower itself, while the Tilia that joins the party in At3 is no more than an holography (a physical copy) of the original Tilia. As far as I know, the advantages would be having total control over the Tower and all of its systems, while the disadvantages are the same as all of the Origins (feeling pain or similar sensations when the Tower suffers damage, dying if it gets destroyed or shut down). As for Harvestasya, are you referring to the ancient demi-godess, or the XP and Vista editions? Anyway, here are the answers for both: the Tower receives its name from the demi-godess Harvestasya, as also its AI systems. Harvestasya XP and Harvestasya Vista are both physical manifestations of the Tower's main systems: the Mainframe and the Subframe, respectively, and are in charge of the management of various of the systems of the Third Tower.Aquagon 07 05:54, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

However, it was indirectly involved, since the Betas were produced fertile after Tilia was created, most likely because of all the advancements that Kurogane did (although I still personally think that he was a bastard, as opposed to Eleno and Jaza). About the last question...can't their Reyvateil qualities be transcripted (redirected) to Harvestasya β-6D Server (or otherwise supressed) before their Cosmospheres began to form? I don't really know. As far as I know, redirecting Cosmospheres from a server to other is an extremely risky and difficult process, and it should be done only after they have finished forming. On the other hand, it would be easier and more realistic to just send the Reyvateils outside of the influence of the Server to which they don't want to be connected.

No. A long time ago, there used to be some, created from generic Beta-6Ds, but in the current times, only the descedants from the Beta-6Ds cloned from the Origins remain.

She indeed was, and most likely, she is a descendant of one of the Betas that came to Metafalss prior to the Grathnode Inferia. I'm not sure. I played through the game without seeing it, but I think I missed a few recipes during it. As for the At1 bomb, I don't think so, since all of the bombs have somewhat different shapes, and cause varying damage amounts. About the Will of Ar Ciel

Because Kurogane and all the idiot proponents of the Human Evolution Project were extremely short-sighted, and instead of focusing on the actual problem at hand (Ar Ciel's death), they obsessed themselves with the failed evolution of mankind. Neutralizing Ar Ru (or better said, imprisoning her into a Cosmosphere to take samples from her physical make-up data) was only done for the purpose of transforming humans into something capable of surviving in the Sea of Death. That background actually looks pretty good. However, I'd rather use one that showcased characters from the characters in the three games of the saga, instead of one using only the ones from Melody of Metafalica. Since that image is on deviantART, it would be a good idea to get permission from the person who created it. Once you've gotten permission, let me know. If/when that happens, since the two center characters are exactly in the middle of the image, the only way to separate it into two parts (for left and right side of the background) without losing any character would be to split it right down the middle. So half of those two center characters would be on one side and the other half on the other side. If that's fine with you, that's what I'll do. I just wanted to make you aware. Styling help?

Hey Aquagon, I noticed that some of the pages have a little content window with links to the sections on the page and some do not like the one for EXEC_METAFALICA . I'm new to wikia editting and have been looking at the source code but can't figure out why that page doesn't have a contents box.

That's because of the number of headings: when you have beyond a certain number of heading in any given page, Wikia automatically puts a contents table on it. I think there's also a tag for forcing it to appear regardless of the number of headings present in the page... but I don't really know what is it... Aquagon 07 03:30, July 7, 2012 (UTC)

Toukousphere

There's something I've been wondering about some of them. Are the japanese sources for the April fools Toukouspheres and the one for Kurt Hymneth available somewhere? The Ar portal only seems to go up to issue 123 and doesn't include the April fools/Kurt Hymneth ones.

All of these were removed from the Ar Portal after their period of time ended, so they can't be found in its archives. However, the April Fools ones were all stored in the megalodon.jp internet archive, so these can be used as reference (although the 2010 version failed to store all of its images in cache, but since it was also replicated by an user into a NicoNico video, it's still possible to fully restore it). However, the pre-Revival special Toukousphere is a lost case... none of the internet archives I've checked have it stored, and I was an idiot and didn't save a local copy on my PC when I had the chance... The same goes for several of the Ar Portal column banners, as the ones for the Telemo Plaza, World Travel Account, Ar Ciel Scoop Agency and The Developers that Even Stop Repelling the Trigger of World's Demise!, as well as a piece of the banner for the Dokkoi Festival, are all lost to time now... It's basically yet other small issue that was put on that same site from when Kurt Hymneth was announced to around the last days of January, which served as an announcement of sorts for the Revival issue. Unfortunately, I don't remember their looks either except for the last one before the Ar Ciel Technical Data Compilation Room and the Telemo Plaza (they respectively have the images of the Third Tower over a blue background and a Telemo over a white background), but they should have the names of their respective sections in Japanese written over it. And there are plans to contnue translating them, but aside of the April Fools' ones, I haven't bothered with making copies of the standard issues due to being available on the Ar Portal archives. Reyvateil bodies

I've seen this picture a while ago. It made me think about something recently. What is the difference betweeen human and Reyvateil bodies(aside from what's shown on the picture)? Thanks. I remember the explanation of metabolism you gave me in a message on the isisARM. You said that if they eat, the food gets disintegrated immediately. Disintegrated into what? Also, it is kind of hard to imagine that it never leaves the Reyvateil body due to a missing metabolism. Or does it leave the body somehow? From my understanding of the word metabolism, it shouldn't do that as this word means everything from entering to leaving the body. However, ß/origin/ɣ Reyvateils can eat(which I regard as a part of metabolism), so maybe I shouldn't take it too serious?
I know that Reyvateils can change their appearance if they train(for example train biceps/triceps to make the upper arms more muscular). But ß/origin/ɣ Reyvateils don't need to eat. Does their appearance change when they eat or don't eat?
And what if they get pregnant(Frelia/Shurelia excluded since they can't do that)? That child is a halfblood Reyvateil or a human. Both, unlike the mother, need food(halfbloods need that because of their human nature, right?). I read many different informations about the following, but none said what is correct. Is there anything known about which endings of the three At games are canon (aside from one of the true endings of At1 and AtQ since they're neccessary for the story)? Tyria's drama CD goes with her true ending. Are the drama CDs canon (those of AtQ and all others with hints on a canon ending)? Do Finnel and Saki end up with Aoto on their respective CD? Renaming Pages

What exactly does that? Does it change the URL of a page or just the name? I recently found out that I'm able to rename pages and though about doing so for the Ar nosurge page since we now know the English title, but not without knowing the consequences (such as having to fix links to that site due to a changed URL). I figured out how to do pictures. I do see that templates are available I tried to use one, but the problem was that I couldn't type anything in it and it would glitch so that I was unable to do anything with it.

To do so, just put the cursor ahead of the picture you want to delete and press backspace until it disappears. To add one, click on the "Photo" in the sidebar, search for the picture you want to add or upload it yourself.
