Will

A Will (意志, ishi^?) is the name given to an agglomeration of Static H-Waves corresponding to a specific entity, which also endows it with an identity.

However, while at first sight it seems like it is the same concept as a soul, Wills differ from them in a specific way: souls are bound to a specific Static D-Wave agglomeration, or in layman's terms to a body. Wills have no such restriction, so they are incorporeal in nature, and it might not be inaccurate to refer to them as ghosts, spirits or gods.

While Wills would naturally dissipate with the passage of time due to their H-Waves being eroded and consumed by the other waves existing throughout the world, particularly powerful Wills can retain their characteristic waveform for a longer time and influence the world even if they are incapable of carrying out direct interactions with the D-Wave plane. In this case, "powerful" refers to the fact that they have a higher H-Wave frequency than other Wills.

Similarly, the stronger Wills can also split themselves into several compartmentalized Wills that are still subordinated to the original one or ones that created them through a special linkage system established through U-Waves in the case of advanced ones that belong to entities of the size of continents and planets, or through N-Waves in the case of biological lifeforms such as humans. However, this compartmentalization does not occur in artificial life forms such as the Reyvateils due to their bodies being made solely from D-Waves and being more like a liquid with shape memory rather than a structure constructed by countless cells.
