いや、それが自分でも不思議なんだけど、俺って生まれてこの方一回も虫歯になったことないんだ。 歯医者には定期的に行ってるけど、虫歯の影も見当たらない、って言われてさっさと帰されるしな。 だからドリルなんか生まれてこの方一度も口に入れられたことないんだ。

No, I can hardly believe it myself, but I’ve not once gotten a cavity in my entire life. I regularly go to the dentist, but get sent home without the slightest trace of a cavity found. So I’ve not once had a drill in my mouth my entire life.

時々いるよね、何故か虫歯にならない不思議な人って。 世の中にはどれだけ必死に歯磨きしても、すぐに虫歯になるような人もいるのに。

It’s been known to happen sometimes, people who miraculously don’t get cavities. Though there are also people that always get cavities no matter how much they brush.

	うちは貧乏だったから「虫歯になっても歯医者に行くお金がないからお母さんがペンチで引っこ抜く」って言われて来たからね。 そのおかげで虫歯にならないように色々工夫して歯を磨くクセがついて、今でも虫歯知らずなの。	We were poor, so my mom would always say she would pull out my teeth with pliers if I got cavities, since we didn’t have the money to go to a dentist. So I did all I could to prevent cavities, and got into the habit of brushing my teeth, which is why I still have never gotten a cavity.

さすがに私が抜くっていうのは冗談よ。 ただ、歯医者に行くお金が無かったから、虫歯にさせないためにはそうでも言って脅かす必要があったのよ。 でもまあ、実際に虫歯になったら借金してでも連れて行ったと思うけどね。

That was a joke of course. But I had to scare her like that so she wouldn’t get cavities since we didn’t have the money to go to the dentist. Well, if she actually ended up getting one, I probably would have taken out a loan and went.

	う～ん……性格が変わる、っていうのはちょっと間違ってるかも。 ダイブってトラウマや、思い悩んでいる部分をパートナーに見せて、それを解消してもらうのが本来の目的でしょ？ だから性格が変わったんじゃなくて、色んな悩みで押さえ込んでいた本来の姿に戻った、っていうのが正しいんじゃないかな？	Hrmm… It’s not exactly that your personality changes. The whole purpose of a Dive is to share your worries and trauma with your partner and resolve it, right? So it’s not that your personality changes, it’s more like you return to how you were before being bogged down by those troubles.
	けど、ここまでダイブで劇的な性格変化のあったヒロインってオリカ以外にはいないよな？ それだけオリカは本当の自分を押さえ込んでいたってことか。	But there’s no other heroine who changed so drastically through dives other than Aurica, right? Was she suppressing her true self that much?

まあ、少し解放させすぎたんじゃないか、って思わずにいられない時もあるけどな……

投稿道場で採用されていたイラストを見て思ったのですが、フレリアって泳げるんですか？ 背中の翼のせいで水中での抵抗が生まれてしまいバランスが取れなさそうですが。 それとも逆に、それを利用して奇天烈な泳法を生み出したとか？ (咲也)

	それ花粉症の症状だろ！！ ってか、メンテナンスロイドも花粉症になるのか！？	Aren’t those the symptoms of a pollen allergy?!!  Wait, even the maintenance droids have pollen allergies?!
	いえ、花粉症にはなりませんが、花粉症で苦しんでいる人達のことを実際に理解するために、花粉症プログラムをジャクリさんに作っていただいたのです。	No, we don’t have pollen allergies, but we had Jakuri make a pollen allergy program, so we would truly understand those who suffer from allergies.

本当の花粉症の辛さはプログラムなんかとは比べ物にならない、と言いたいらしいわ。 ていうかインフェル、肉体を失っても花粉症になるのはどうかと思うわ。

It seems she wants to say that a program is nothing compared to what a real pollen allergy is like.  Though Infel, I’m not sure what to think about you have a pollen allergy even after losing your body.

ボクも軽度の花粉症だから、きぐるみから顔を出すことができないんだよ。 このきぐるみの頭の部分、花粉や風邪のウイルスを１００％遮断する素材でできてるから、この季節はマスク代わりなんだ。

I also have a slight pollen allergy, so I can’t show my face. This kigurumi head is made from a material that blocks pollen and cold viruses by 100%, so I use in in place of a mask this time of year.

花粉や風邪のウイルスを１００％遮断っていうのは、花粉症で苦しんでる人にとっては羨ましい気のかもしれないね。 けど、実際にそれを被って花粉症の季節を乗り切ろうと思うような人はいないと思うけど。

Something that blocks pollen and cold viruses 100%, people who suffer from pollen allergies might be envious of that. Though I don’t think there’s anyone who would actually think to weather pollen season by wearing that.

初投稿です。最近ここを見つけたので質問させていただきます。 アルトネリコ２の後半でクローシェ様METHOD_METAFALICAを演説広場で謳っているシーンがあったんですが、あの時にもルカに力が送られていたんですか？ 数年前にクリアしたので本編中にそういった記述があればすいません。 (じゃっこり)

This is my first submission. I'll be asking about something I saw here recently. There was a scene in which Lady Cloche sang METHOD_METAFALICA/. at the Speech Square in Ar tonelico 2's second half, but was any energy transmitted to Luca at that moment? It's been several years since I cleared the game, so I'm sorry if nothing like that happened in the game. (Jakkori)

あの時は、ルカには力は送られていないわよ。 METHOD_METAFALICA/.は確かにEXEC_METAFALICA/.のパッチであって、EXEC_METAFALICA/.の謳い手であるルカに力を送るものではあるけど、それは二人で同時に謳ったときだけなのよ。 METHOD_METAFALICA単独で謳った場合、I.P.D.の境界門が全員開き、心の中が丸見えになってしまうだけで、他には特に効果があるわけではないわ。 発電しても電線が繋がっていなければ、電気は届かないでしょう？　メタファリカも一緒に謳わなければ電線が繋がっていない状態なのよ。

No energy was transmitted to Luca at that moment. It's true that METHOD_METAFALICA/. is a patch for EXEC_METAFALICA/. that is supposed to transmit energy to the EXEC singer, but that only happens when the singers of both parts sing them together. Since METHOD_METAFALICA/. was sung by itself then, the only effects it would have would be opening the Boundary Gates of all the IPDs, allowing to see into each other's minds. You know how energy can't be transmitted regardless of the amount put into them if the power lines aren't connected, correct? It is the same case for Metafalica: the power lines are only connected when both parts are being sung together.

I finally could listen to the Ar tonelico 3: The Song of the Girl that Triggers the World's Demise Side Tyria After Story. Its contents take place a X number of years after Ar tonelico 3's endings, but what kind of events took place during these years? Especially the efforts the older sisters did for their little sister! And after the Tower disappeared, what happened to VISTA and XP? (totoRL)

I didn't do anything special, understood? Please, don't be disappointed when you find there's nothing weird there. You know that I'm saying the truth, right?
	ちなみに妾は、塔が消滅した後はスリープする事になるわ。 XPはアルトネリコ３で惑星再生の際に任務を全うし、惑星の中心で消滅しているわよ。	As for me, I entered sleep mode after the Tower disappeared. XP already accomplished her role when the Planet was regenerated in Ar tonelico 3, so she disappeared in the Planetary Core.

前回のアル・ルゥの発言に大変興味深いものがありました。 >そして実は私達も、そういった「従兄弟」を許容しているのよ。 これはつまり、アルシエルにはアルシエル以外を起源とする生命が存在するということでしょうか？ (ストガー)

There was something that greatly interested me among the things Ar Ru said in the previous issue. >And since the life forms from that other planet are actually like "cousins" to us too, we would accept their existence as well. Does that mean that there are life forms that aren't originally from Ar Ciel living in it? (Stoger)

イエスかノーかでいえば、イエスね。 私達テル族に古くから伝わる伝承にも、テル族は元々はアルシエルの人ではないと記されているわ。 それに、テル族は大昔…いわゆる伝説の時代には、この星の人々とは違い、神々…惑星の意志と、友達のような感覚で対話をしていたというの。 今となってはどれも、何の信憑性もない伝説でしかないけど。

If I had to say "yes" or "no", the answer would be yes. It's even said in the legends that have passed down from very ancient times among us Teru, that we weren't originally people from Ar Ciel. It's also said that a long time ago... in the so-called era of legends, the Teru acknowledged the Gods.. the Wills of the Planet, as friends, unlike the humans from this planet. However, everyone came to consider these stories as legends that have zero credibility to them.

以前テクニカルデータ編纂室で「R波が物質波の世界もある」と話していたのですが、そうなるとH波を物質波として使っている世界もあるのでしょうか？ また、もしもその生物がアルシエルに来た場合、人間にその生物は詩として認識されるのでしょうか？ (マトウィ)

It was said previously in the Technical Data Compilation room that "there might even be worlds where R-Waves are the waves of matter", but then could there be too a world that uses H-Waves as the waves of matter? And if any of its life forms ever came to Ar Ciel, would the humans recognize these beings as Songs? (Matwi)

ええ、有る可能性は高いわね。でも世界は広い。なかなかH波＝物質波という世界と邂逅することは無いわ。 エクサピーコ宇宙における全波動数は、それこそ数え切れないほど有ると言われている。そしてそれはこの空間をまんべんなく満たしているの。 私達はその中で、アルシエルの持つ２４の波動については認識できるけど、それ以外は認識できないわ。そしてその「認識できない」結果として、「無の空間」として宇宙空間を形成しているというわけ。だから、全波動を見ることが出来る人が世界を俯瞰すれば、この広い宇宙空間はギッシリなのよ。 それで、その中でももの凄く低い確率で、確かにH波＝物質波の世界も存在するわね。そういった世界の人達は、私達の「想い」や「記憶」が構築した秩序の上に立って生活している。そして彼らは、私達の心に直接的に、そして得体の知れない作用を及ぼすわ。それは私達の心が、絶えず流動する要因の一つになるでしょうね。 逆に彼らが私達の世界に来た場合は、恐らく「意味不明な秩序と法則によって変化する思念体」という形状をとることになるわね。ただ恐らく、その彼の肉体は、私達の「想いの流れ」によって、物理法則を無視した非常識な崩壊、変化を体験することでしょう。 逆に言えば、強引な空間や波動のねじ曲げを行わない状態であれば、それらも込みで現在の生命の営みは行われている。すなわち私達も、D波を揺らがせる存在によって影響を受けつつも、その影響も込みで肉体や大地を形成し、それがカオスに変化し続けていると言える。 …もちろん、これは私達アルシエルの惑星の意志が共有する持論であって、正解ではないかもしれない。だから、一推論として聞いてもらうのが一番イイと思うわ。

Yes, there is a high probability of such a world existing. But the world is very wide. We have never met a world that used H-Waves as its matter waves. It's said that the number of wave types that exist in the Universe of EXA_PICO is infinite, and they all fill this space. Among us, we can only recognize the 24 wave types that Ar Ciel has, so we can't recognize any others. As a result of "being unable to recognize these waves", they seem to be forming an "empty space" we recognize as the void of outer space. Therefore, if a person who could recognize all wave types overlooked this world, they would see that this wide outer space is actually packed with all sorts of matter. So while there is a very little probability of something like that existing among the world, it's true that a world that uses H-Waves for its matter waves exists. The people of that world stand and live on an order constructed by our "feelings" and "memories". And since they directly touch our minds, they cause all sorts of mysterious effects on them. That would be one of the causes for our minds being in a constant state of flow. On the other hand, if they ever came to our world, they perhaps would take the form of "masses of ideas that change according to ambiguous systems and laws". And since probably their bodies would be made from our "flow of feelings", they would cause common sense to crumble due to being able to ignore physical laws and experiment all sorts of changes. On the other hand, if they were in a state in which they can force distortions into space and the waves, they would be just part of the current flow of life. In other words, we could say that we receive their influence due to being creatures that can make D-Waves oscillate, and our bodies and lands are structured along their influence, which is why everything continues changing in a chaotic manner. ...Of course, this all is just a theory shared among Ar Ciel's Wills of the Planet, so it's possible it's mistaken. Therefore I think it's best that you listen and make your own conclusions about it.

前回のトウコウスフィアを見てて思ったのですが、ダイバーズセラピではダイバーを追い出す（クリティカルダウン）ことはできないんですか？ 一応商売なので技量や方法よりも誓約の方に問題がありそうですね。主人公陣は結構弾きだされますけど、危険だって説明がありましたよね、たしか。 (C)

I think I saw this on the previous Toukousphere, but isn't it possible to drive Divers away through Dive Therapy (by triggering a Critical Down)? I'm thinking that it'd be more a problem of contracts more than ability or methods used in the business though. All the protagonists have gotten repelled more than once, but it was explained it's pretty dangerous. (C)

出来なくはないけど、セラピ中にクリティカルダウンを起こすのは、お客様にとって最悪の状況なの。例えばレストランのウェイトレスであれば、お客さんに水をかけたり、お盆でブッ叩いたりするのと同じ…ううん、それ以上に失礼なことなんだよ。 お客さんは、そういったクリティカルダウンの危険性が無い事も含め、ダイバーズセラピストという存在を信頼して心を預けるわけなんだから。もし事故であっても、セラピ中にクリティカルダウンをやらかしたら、事情によってはもうセラピストとしては食べていけなくなると思う。 でも、ノノちゃんみたいにプロクシダイブでクリティカルダウンを起こしちゃった場合は別。プロクシをするときにはお客さんにその危険性について十分理解してもらうし、やむを得ずクリティカルダウンする事もあることは事前に承認してもらうから。もちろん実績としては黒丸になってしまうけど、通常のセラピに対する信頼にはさほど影響無いんだよ。

It's not impossible, but causing a Critical Down during a Therapy session's the worst you could do to a customer. For example, it'd be just like a restaurant waitress spilling water on a customer and knocking the daylights out from them with a tray... no, it's far more rude than that. Customers trust and hand their minds to us because we Dive Therapists give many guarantees for them during our sessions, among them being zero risks of a Critical Down happening. And if one actually happened, it'd be because the Therapist deliberately caused the Critical Down, so depending on the situation, I don't think the customer would get swallowed by the Therapist. But Critical Downs caused by a Proxy Dive, like what happened to Nana, are a different case. When a Proxy Dive is carried out, the customer has to understand first of the risks associated with one, because they have to consent to doing so even though Critical Down are inevitable during them. Of course I struck the bull's-eye on them as shown in my track record as a Therapist, but it has nothing to do with the confidence on my abilities for normal Therapy.
