This song was sung by Sasha to relax while she, Cocona and Shukure were hiding from the Antibodies, and while Sasha was remodelling the Infel Phira relay satellite she had brought with her for Cocona to use into a single-use enhanced relay she would be able to use to defeat the Antibodies, although she stopped singing when Shukure told her to remain quiet.
Despite appearing like a childish song without any particular qualities, it's actually a nursery rhyme sung by the children of Metafalss whenever they go around walking with their parents, and it pretty much breathes the culture of Metafalss, since the message it carries is that happiness is something that everyone must attain with their own hands.
This is because of the poverty in Metafalss: it was the kind of environment in which no one can even eat unless they do something about it by themselves. From early childhood, and according to how this song says, by working and taking the initiative to be helpful to everyone, the children would learn to be work to be helpful to others. And so, once they reached adulthood, they would be reminded of these childhood of this with a much more severe song, which is the one we know as To My Homeland.
